Poor comms and hard beds

Good location, with off street parking. Property was very clean and kitchen was well equipped.

No correspondence from the host, except automated until the day we were checking in. Day we were checking in we are made aware of €300 deposit- this is in the listing but it’s well hidden so be aware because we found ourselves standing on a street corner with 2 tired kids transferring money around last minute - when the host could have reiterated this in earlier correspondence The internet didn’t work intermittently- The hot water didn’t work for our stay. The host was proactive in fixing these, WHEN they read the text - which was a few hours after sending - so no showers for any of us. They did fix it a few hours later but we didn’t have time then. The beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. None of us managed to sleep - they were hard and lumpy and soft all at the same time.

Very close to city center and very big place

Room was very clean and big. The whole apartment was gorgeous and close to the city center, but still in a very calm place at the city. Kitchen was well equiped.

It was a little scary at the beginning because we were not sure on how to take the keys and enter at the place. Luckily we had one of the neighbors that gave us instructions so i'd recommend take one day first and send messages to the owners to have the instructions.

Stop over after a long road trip.

Parking was really handy, the location was excellent the bed was comfy and generally the flat was lovely.

Small things like there were only about a ¼ of roll of toilet paper left in the apartment, the complementary tea bag and the washing machine tab had gotten damp and were useless. The mattresses were near end of life but as I mentioned before they were comfy enough.

A well equipped apartment close to the train station

The location is amazing. The owner was very responsive and helpful with the check-in process. They kindly let us leave our backpacks after the checkout time to pick them up closer to our train departure. 4 of us stayed there and we had enough space. The kitchen is well equipped, we made a lovely dinner and enjoyed it at the dinner table.

The listing mentions the outdoor furniture and a terrace, but it wasn't available for us during our stay.

Disappointment

- Great location close to the railway station - Easy access with the keys kept in the lock box - Relatively quick service

- Only one towel for three people at the beginning, more towels provided upon request - The newly delivered towels were left on the dirty floor at the doorstep without any protection - There was a stuffy smell in the flat with a scent of cigarettes - There was no door for the toilet/bathroom but only a curtain! - The wifi did not work at the basement floor. (The flat is a duplex on the ground floor with the beds and the bathroom in the basement.)

A nice Airbnb apartment with reasonable price. I will pick the same property next time.

The house was clean and the host was kind and curtesy. He even spend time to tell us where to get around and what to see. He bring all the missing household items that we need at no time.

Not enough garbage bag (only one) and if a drying machine that pair with the washing machine will be ideal. Actually, we could pick anything should be improve.

Ideal city apartment for a couple or family.

It was a lovely cool and spacious city apartment with great kitchen facilities that was within relatively easy walk of the centre of the city.

The only problem was there was only 1 WC when I specifically chose the property based on it being advertised as having 2 bathrooms. We were a couple + an additional adult (my mother) and 2 bathrooms would have been far more pleasant that 1 WC and 2 shower rooms.

3 friends from Bruxelles in visit

Landlord was extremely nice and helpful. We were very late on arrival and asked if that's OK. He said yes and that we can call him late in the evening if we needed help with keys and opening codes etc. We really called around 11p.m. and he was very kind and helpful. The location was fantastic and easy to find. A walk to the centre was about 10 minutes. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend.

It tended to become quite noisy outside early morning but that’s no reflection on the apartment as we had to sleep with windows wide open due to the heat.

Very nice spacious appartment on the edge of Rouen Centre, reccomended for a group

This well appointed roomy appartment is stuated perfectly at the edge of Rouen centre, in walking distance of all the main attractions. Parking [paid] is available at the location. Three separate bedrooms and two bathrooms makes this really attractive for a [family] group.

The appartmet is obviously very recently completely renewd and some small details are still in progress. That there is no wash basin in the separate WC is something that could be adressed.

Decent value

It’s close to the train station, and 10min walk to the old town and sights. It’s quiet in the bedroom, and you get a fair amount of space for the price. Sunlight is well blocked.

It wasn’t quiet in the kitchen due to passing trains every now and then. When that happens, it shakes a bit. The winding stairs from the kitchen to the bedroom in the basement is very winding and narrow. I left luggage upstairs as a consequence.

La suciedad del patio-parking y la entrada al apartamento, no lo limpiaron ningún día. El apartamento limpio, excepto el espacio entre las ventanas. Una de las camas tenia las sábanas y el cubre colchón sucios y echamos en falta la advertencia de un solo water.
