Super apartment in historic Rouen.

Centrally located near the historic quarter, this apartment is perfect for a few nights in Rouen.

Very nice one, although the stairs were killing us

Small, but pretty facility. The check-in insstructions were very detailed and it helped much. The parking garage was not very spacious, but at least there was any. The crew proposed us to mount a barrier blocking from the stairs, which was a good option if you have small children. Very spacious and practical bathroom

We didn't like the stairs. We knew the apartment was located on the 4th floor, but the stairs were just dangerous. Same with the internal stairs - there should be some doors separating from them. Ok, we got the barrier, but it made it hard to go with the baggage through it. I think they could mount the sliding doors, similarly to the bathroom.

Great accommodation

We liked the location as it was very close to city center and we had a closed private parking included in the price. This was convenient as you do not lose time searching for parking and paying parking fees. The instructions when we arrived were clear and helpful.

Apartment is great, customer service is awful

The location was great, close to everything. The apartment is in great shape, everything is from IKEA, but comfortable enough. The owner is responsive and reasonable, with very good English.

The instructions to get the keys and for parking were terrible, with part of them missing. The concierge was outright horrendous - he refused to help me with the parking address that was missing from the instructions and yelled at me repeatedly that I needed to read them again…. When I asked if he was going to help me, he said no. Apparently, it was all our fault since we were offered the option of someone meeting us at the place and didn’t choose it! My logic was simple - if there are instructions, we can follow them without bothering other people. Well, clearly not with these folks. Huge amount of stress, for no reason, and for our own money. The owner promised to refund one of the nights for the insulting behavior of the concierge, and we will have to wait and see if that actually happens. To continue- We ended up figuring out where to park by reading the instructions in French and using our deductive powers :). The parking space looked like a dungeon, with barn doors that opened with a big brass key, we had a difficult time parking because there was a motorcycle parked in front of our spot; we were relieved to find our car there two days later. And - the apartment is a fourth floor walk-up, so be careful when booking - it is not in the description. I had the owner change the instructions, but he didn’t take all of my suggestions, unfortunately, so they still sound a bit funny. So - take note and think hard about booking this place. If, however, you don’t have a car and travel light, then you will be very comfortable in this apartment.

Great place in the city center with secure parking

Great big place in the heart of Rouen. It has a secure parking place across the street. 10 minutes by foot to Cathedral and bars and restaurants. Communication with host was perfect and very accurate. I totally recommend it.

Construction going on, causing some noise, access and electrical problems. I recall it being advertised as 2 bedroom but only one actual separate room - additional bedrooms were part of the (large) living area. This worked fine for kids but would be a problem if two couples are travelling together.

Appartement aménagé et décoré avec goût, nous avons apprécié le goûter offert ainsi que le parking sécurisé compris dans la location. Sa proximité directe avec le centre ville était également un plus ainsi que la communication très clair avec la conciergerie.

We hebben van genoten van de staat en zijn geschiedenis.

De locatie is dichterbij het centrum van de staat. We konden elke dag naar het centrum lopen. We hebben het brood gekocht bij de bakker vlakbij het appartement. Nog iets dat wij fijn vonden was wij ons eigen parkeer plek hadden. Het appartement is goed ingericht.

Dat de andere gasten de deuren van de gezamenlijke ruimtes niet dicht deden. Nog iets dat wij niet fijn vonden waren de trappen om bij het appartement te komen. De koffie apparaat was ingewikkeld in gebruikt.

Forse un po’ piccolo per 4 persone, tantissime scale, il centro dista circa 15/20 minuti a piedi.

Sehr gute und neue / moderne Ausstattung, sehr sauber, tolle Fußnähe zu Sehenswürdigkeiten. Klare Anweisungen zu Check-in, Check-out und Parken. Leichter und unabhängiger Zugang dank Schlüsselbox.

Sehr enge und ungleichmäßig zu laufende Treppe über vier Etagen. Trotzdem würden wir wieder buchen.

Struttura vicino al centro. A piedi sono circa 20 minuti. Comodo il garage sotto casa Monolocale arredato con gusto e nuovo e provvisto di bagnoschiuma e ingredienti base per la cucina. Oltre a trovare delle merendine per la colazione. Consiglio

Appartement très bien situé, très proche du centre ville. Parfait avec sa place de parking. Et très agréable grâce aux attentions du service conciergerie. Je recommande ce logement et y reviendrai sans soucis en famille. Logement bien adapté pour 4 personnes. Les explications à notre arrivée étaient claires. Merci d'avoir rendu ce séjour agréable.

Ce n’est pas le logement que je n’ai pas aimé, car il est agréable, mais la description peu claire qui en est faite sur le site booking. Il s’agit d’un 4e étage sans ascenseur (pas précisé en amont de la réservation ou alors très bien dissimulé - nous étions avec une personne de 90 ans. Il est évident que nous n’aurions jamais pris ce logement si nous l’avions su avant). Logement proposé pour 2-4 personnes mais seulement 2 chaises, 1 grand lit et 2 fauteuils lits. Ce logement est adapté pour 2 personnes mais pas plus. Vue sur la ville mensongère (on voit juste les toits quand on monte sur le lit). Le ménage est soit disant compris, mais on doit enlever le linge de lit, sortir les poubelles, aspirer les sols…
