Wonderful stay in a centrally located house full of character and charm.

Comfortable apartment full of character and fascination. The host made every effort to make it feel like home. It catered well for children and had everything we needed. The location was perfect with a short walk to town, a park, museums and all the sights. Parking was easy nearby in the car park and a short walk to our quiet street. Rouen is beautiful and full of history and lively restaurants and bars in the centre.

The stairs, as pictured, were so steep and I had to help my children to go up and down them with 3 flights leading to the top room. It is understandable as this is a very old house with low ceilings and uneven floors. But the host made the very best of all the spaces available.

One of the double bed was broken, meaning we had to sleep on a separate mattress on the floor. The toilet flush not working properly!

Fun and easy.

Location was easy walk from train station and an easy walk to many of the top sights. We loved the eclectic design of the medival apartment. The secret kids room was cute.

A very special apartment which we considered ourselves very lucky to rent for one night. No noise whatsoever.

The apartment was very different from ordinary hotel rooms, which was very good in our opinion and which made our stay very memorable. Everything was very clean and nothing was missing. The coffee machine made wonderful coffee 😊

One of the best apartments we have found in France. Definitely to select if you plan to visit Rouen .

The apartment was clean and in good condition. The kitchen is fully furnished as well as the rest of the house. At the arrival we found the basics for a good breakfast, and several types of tea and caffe. The owner also demonstrates attention for the children, you can find a lot of coloured pens and some toys. Finally you can find the characteristic style of Normandy

Quaint, clean, comfortable, no stress or hassle. Good communication from the staff. It is a house not a hotel.

Lack of parking was a problem, there is parking nearby but 1.9m height restriction. Also, the stairs are medieval. I liked it and it was cool and quaint but would have been good to know as one of our party had a condition with his leg.

Fantastic pied a terre in old Rouen.

It was very quaint and full of character, very well equipped and comfortable. The location in a small road was very central in the old quarter.

Steep narrow stairs made getting luggage up and down quite hard.

Enjoyable stay but wouldn't go again because of the dangerous stairs

Breakfast was very good and the location was perfect. Kitchen well equipped and comfortable dining/ sitting area, and bedrooms.

The stairs were REALLY tricky if you were not so nimble or with imperfect eyesight. This was made worse as the toilet was on kitchen level, one floor below one bedroom, two floors below the other bedroom, with a spiral staircase, with uneven steps and a narrow steep one neither with handrails between. We managed plenty of spiral steps in Rouen, Gros Horloge for example, without difficulty as they had handrails. Imagine trips to the toilet in the middle of the night! I think this information should have been clear on the site. Also very noisy at night.

Very weird house

The only thing we liked about the house was the location, considering the apt is in the heart of the Rouen.

The apartment is a real nightmare, situated in this old and dusty building. It has 3/4 floors with impossible steps, the bathroom with the toilet is on the first floor while the one with the shower is on the second floor in the bedroom. No clue from the pics that the house was a sort of weird mountaineering experience… in that case it would have been funny!

Évidemment c’est un logement typique de Rouen. C’est donc une expérience un peu particulière à vivre avec un plancher et des escaliers pas très droit . Ça peut être perturbant. Pour une nuit c’est très bien.

Apartamentul este dispus pe 3 etaje având o scară interioară strâmtă și incomodă, fiind nevoiți să lăsăm trolerele la parter. Dintr-o problemă tehnică nu am putut beneficia de parcare conform rezervării, dar gazda ne-a lăsat 20 euro cu care am putut plăti o parcare câteva străzi mai departe.

Agréable séjour familial dans une maison de charme en centre-ville.

Emplacement idéal, en centre-ville, à proximité de nombreux commerces et restaurants et à 10 minutes à pied de la gare. La maison a du charme et propose une bonne superficie, avec, au rez-de-chaussée, un petit vestibule, au 1er étage, le salon-salle à manger avec cuisine ouverte et toilettes, au 2ème étage, une première chambre, avec une petite salle de douche et un évier indépendant, et enfin, au dernier étage, une 2ème chambre, sous les toits. Le linge de lit était propre. Nous avons très bien dormi. Aucun bruit de l'extérieur. L'hôte s'est aussi montrée très arrangeante par rapport à nos horaires de train.

Les escaliers, aux marches irrégulières, sont raides et peuvent se montrer glissants si l'on marche en chaussettes, d'autant qu'il n'y a pas de main courante pour se tenir. Le plafond est également bas par endroits. Ces éléments ne sont pas un souci si l'on fait attention mais vigilance pour les personnes de grande taille, âgées ou qui ont de l'embonpoint. La propreté de la cuisine n'était pas totalement optimale (machine à café, théière, grille-pain, micro-ondes, four et réfrigérateur pas nettoyés à notre arrivée). Quelques poussières résiduelles par endroits. Plantes en plastique inutiles et en mauvais état sur le rebord des fenêtres. La connexion wifi coupait très souvent et il fallait à chaque fois redémarrer la box internet. NB: rien de tout cela n'est rédhibitoire et ces quelques points n'ont en rien entaché la qualité de notre séjour.

近隣にカフェ、飲食店、ベーカリー(Ma Boulanger)、スーパーなど全てあります。今回は夕方着1泊だったのでパーキングはジャンヌダルク広場からすぐ近くのPicard向かいのpayantを利用。部屋は清潔で、ゲストの必要なものは全て揃っており、ユニークなインテリアが素敵でした。こちらに宿泊できて最高でした。ありがとうございました。

Una serata come a casa mia

L’appartamento è in centro città e consente di raggiungere a piedi tutti i luoghi da visitare. È molto ben attrezzato con tutto ciò che serve x viverci e non manca proprio nulla. C’è addirittura la tessera per il parking.

Ho trovato scomoda la dislocazione delle stanze su 3 piani e soprattutto l’avere il bagno al primo piano con le camere da letto al secondo e terzo.
