An attractive, spacious & well equipped property in a great location.

Great location. The property was spacious, clean & well equipped.

The property has little to no noise insulation. People in the adjacent rooms were noisy in the stairwell after 11pm & there was an almost constant banging of doors or shutters throughout the night. Although the property has radiators they did not work & with outside temperatures of 5C the interior felt chilly.

Nice and tidy flat in the old town

The location is very good, in the heart of the old town and at a walkable distance from lots of restaurants, bars, and tourists attractions. The flat is spacious, tidy, and super clean. We also loved the air conditioning, it’s just a pity that there isn’t a unit in the small bedroom.

The old town is awesome, but can be quite noisy and busy until very late at night, even if you keep the windows closed. As usual, it’s a matter of balancing pros and cons, but definitely something to consider if you are looking for quiet places.

- Good location, most off the attractions were either a few mins walk or the bus stop/Metro stop were 10-15 min walk. There are smaller supermarkets on the street which makes it easy to grab anything. Street also had nightlife, locals gathered nearby, lots of restaurants and cafes. - AC worked perfectly, apartment were spacious, kitchen had everything we needed so we could make our own breakfast (Tip: Buy your breakfast the day before, because most of the grocery stores and bakeries open around 9am). - There are spacious luggage storage lockers, where we could leave our luggages in the morning before 4pm check in and we could start exploring the city.

- Our room (34) didn’t look like those on the pictures shared on Booking.com. I understand that they have a lot of rooms, but the fairest would be if they take a picture of all of them and then we can pick which one we want to rent. The one we got was quite worn out, the sofa was quite loud, any time I moved it made a sound. Every funtitures had scratches on it, the bathroom especially looked worn out and falling apart (showerhead holder about to break, didn’t look that clean either). - The walls are extremely thin between the apartments so we could hear the spanish neighbors laughing, talking, moving every furnitures really loud in the middle of the night. Even their water heater machine was loud anytime it turned on. This made it hard to sleep well. - When we were about to enter our room the key code didn’t work. We contacted the reception about it via Whatsapp, then they opened the door for us from far. That’s when we found out that we’ve been told the wrong room number, because the room we entered already had someone renting it and they looked confused at us. People can make mistakes, my only problem with this whole situation that what if in the future the reception from far opens again the wrong room for a guest and then things gets stolen. They should be a bit more careful with it and double check who gets which room. - Too many information being shared before checkin, the text is way too long to read and a lot of information in it is not even applies to us. Would be great if they could shorten the messages.

Great Location, Roomy Apartment; Good Stay; But…leaking A/C and no counter space?

The location of the property was excellent. The communication and response of the management was excellent. The apartment was roomy and spacious; the A/C was very good; and the “extras” like espresso packets, sugar, spices, mini-croissants, etc was excellent. The lighting in the bathroom (a particular concern of my wife’s) was exceptional, and the shower was very good. The balconies and overview of the street “action” were very good, and natural lighting was nice.

The counter space in the kitchen area is too limited. We had a leak from the A/C the first night, and although management addressed the issue immediately, it was an inconvenience to have the workmen spend time to fix an issue that should never have been an issue. The microwave and toaster were originally stacked on one end of the counter, but removed when the workmen had to address the A/C leak. They never returned to clean up or put the appliances back on the counter. That was the only thing that allowed sufficient counter space to prepare small snacks and meals. Otherwise, there wasn’t space to use the cutting board because whenever we put it on the counter stove top, warning lights for the burners came on, making it impossible to use that as additional counter space.

Disappointed overall — the reality simply didn’t match the expectations.

The only positive thing I can say is the location — it’s good and convenient. Unfortunately, everything else fell far below expectations.

The photos of the apartment looked amazing, but the reality was completely different. We stayed for a few days — and it was a big disappointment. There was a constant and strong sewage smell in the apartment, especially in the bathroom, but it spread throughout the space. The overall condition of the apartment was very worn out — the furniture, walls, and bathroom were all in poor shape. It was extremely noisy at night, which made it difficult to get proper rest. We reported the problem right away, but no solution was offered, and our room was never changed. We weren’t expecting luxury, but at the very least we expected what was promised in the listing — and we definitely didn’t get that. Judging by other reviews, the sewage smell and worn-out condition seem to be a recurring issue in this property.

Bad smell in the kitchen The personnel was quite rigid and not so friendly. The check-in hour was at 15:00 and it was impossible to obtain an earlier check in. Even at 15:10, they gave us the room key, but once arrived in the room the clean staff wasn’t totally ready.

one of girls at reception when we checking out, ask us to pay us 170€ even tho I payed full amount thru booking, she was keeping say please enter your card. so I had to show her all payments made in full then other lovely girl came around and said don’t worry we gone deal with Booking directly . never got any apology from other reception girl , though this was very in unprofessional to ask customer pay before even check properly.

The staff and location are excellent. The size of the apartment was good for being a group of 6. The bedding was clean.

The flat wasn’t as clean as we would have liked. It was clear that the table hadn’t been wiped properly and there was an unpleasant smell in the flat for the whole stay. I’m not sure if it was to do with the drains or if it just hadn’t been aired out for a while. It would also be great to have more glasses and kitchenware considering it is meant to be for 6 people.

Excellent accommodation, staff and location

The location was perfect - 5 minutes walk from the Mercado Central and walking distance to everywhere we wanted to visit. We rented bikes from directly opposite the apartment and there was a small supermarket just around the corner. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. If you didn’t want to eat out there was a fully equipped kitchen and also a take away pizza place across the road which was always busy. Our apartment had a sofa bed in the living room and a bedroom and bathroom upstairs via a spiral staircase, so could have accommodated four people. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful.

Loved the location and public areas well placed for the central market and some lovely buildings. Very comfortable bed and plenty of wardrobe space.Parking was easy and secure.

The apartment was adequately stocked..just!however the fact that sink plugs are only supplied on asking..at reception is shortsighted...as washing dishes in running water is a waste....surely if they are worried about them being stolen they should be given on check in with the keys.
