A peaceful haven after the excitement of Blackpool

The property was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The shower was great and we loved the location. Georgina and Jamie were great hosts, very obliging. We loved Jamie’s bar.

Very clean and homely with friendly staff. Nice little bar ideal for a friendly evening in. The breakfast was excellent, especially the pancakes. Well situated between the seafront and town centre.

Mattress was a little hard for me. I suffer with a bad back and it was sore after 2 nights. I could feel the springs. Maybe it needs updating or maybe it would be ok for someone else.

Excellent hosts who made you feel welcome and had lots of knowledge of the local area and nothing was too much trouble. Only a short walk to the beach and the town centre. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped and there was plenty of choice for breakfast.

Absolutely brilliant short stay, with two fantastic hosts in Georgina and Jamie who couldn’t do enough for us. One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had with everything piping hot, as it should be. Will definitely be returning for more stays. Well done both of you, you should be proud of what you’ve created.

A wonderful place to stay

The owners can’t do enough for you and are very welcoming. The accommodation is cosy, warm, extremely clean and comfortable. Peaceful setting and great location. Food was perfect. A faultless stay, we will return time and again.

Lovely hosts, very comfortable house, great food.

Hosts are very friendly and helpful. They clearly have a "brand" they wish to present, which is all about service, quality and comfort. The house is old but in excellent condition. The owners have clearly spent a lot of money on it and given a lot of thought to the decor. The Breakfast offering is wide and varied. It caters for most dietary needs and what we had was delicious. The pancakes are particularly nice.

We can think of nothing that needs improvement. It is not a luxury hotel but for a family owned and run bed and breakfast it is excellent.
