Rundown and dirty.

The pool was quiet and good for relaxing. Location is very central. Easy to get to Blackpool via bus or train. Lots of shops about. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful.

The place is run down and unclean. Sofas dirty and marked, dog hairs all over Furniture. Furniture well used and past its best. Chairs were burst. Dampness in some rooms, curtains not closing. Although it looks likes they are trying to upgrade there is lots of things wrong with each room. I wouldn't recommend staying here at present.

Excellent Apartment with pool, spa & free parking

Everything

Only that the one bed apartment had only 1 x toilet/bathroom accessible from from the bedroom. So anyone staying on bed settee had to enter bedroom to use the toilet. Minor but was an issue for me as I was on the settee and the children was in bedroom and I didn’t want to wake them up.

The staff were friendly.

The pool water was cloudy which was concerning and the changing rooms had towels everywhere and the floor looked unclean (however we were in the last session of the day). We saw a staff member drying the floor with the towels that are offered to guests. He used it as a mop with his trainers on. The fuse box made a very annoying buzz which didn't switch off. But the location is great. Staff are welcoming and friendly. We had stayed here before and had a much better experience

Absolutely excellent - we will definitely use this hotel again.

Staff were excellent - very friendly and efficient - it felt like they really wanted you to have a good time. The apartment was very comfortable and spacious - we had everything we needed. There were good blackout curtains and a comfortable mattress which allowed for good rest and relaxation. All the facilities in the kitchen were extremely useful. The swimming pool and gym were clean and we enjoyed using them.

There was not much at all that needed improvement - just the body wash bottles were empty in the swimming pool showers (though we could take our own) and we were unable to lock the lockers.

Great hotel shame about booking.con

The staff were great and helpful when thru realised booking com had not outlined fully the restrictions on the building no lift and 4 flights of stairs . We had to change our accommodation to a small place. This was not really ideal as we had the uncomfortable sofa bed. I do not blame the Hy hotel they were as helpful . This was booking.coms issue.

Disappointing and costly for what it is.

Location.

Staff didn’t offer help to set up the sofa bed. That simple measure would be customer service! The sofa jags stains on it as did the walls. The sofa bed had no sheet so you had to sleep where everyone else has. Very unhygienic. The noise from the corridor and especially from above disturbed us throughout the stay. Like a stampede above us and one can’t say what was going on but it didn’t allow us to sleep until very late.

Exceptional apartment.

Grandma, daughter, and 2 granddaughters. Stayed for 1 night, to attend birthday party. We had a 2 bedroom apartment. It was fantastic. Lovely view of the gardens across the road. Lots of space. Beautiful bathroom with shower. Kitchen facilities. Big T.V. Reception staff lovely and friendly, and also very helpful. Wished we had booked extra night! Thank you.

Honest review

The staff (Edward in particular) was really helpful and got us moved to a more suitable room. The coffees and pastries are a nice touch for a light breakfast. Being dog friendly is an added bonus

In principle this hotel could be lovely, we paid a premium as it was bank holiday weekend but I did feel we paid over the odds., The whole place needs a good clean, and the doors need the locking systems changed as the banging is constant and there's no getting away from it. Although we paid for a 1 bedroom apartment, I did state it was for 3 people and the sofabed just wasn't suitable for anyone to sleep on it was rock solid. The pool area is a lovely addition but again, needs a good deep clean. Don't think we'd return unfortunately, but we did fall in love with Lytham St Annes!

Perfect Location, Lovely clean airy apartment with parking and nice facilities.

Excellent Location, Lovely views out the window over the park. 2 Min walk to Beach, Aldi, Shops and Restaurants. Never had an issue with finding a parking space. Bookable Swimming Session, everyone seemed to stick to their slots which was good. Lovely fluffy towels to use, saves you taking them. Starbucks Latte in the morning. Large apartment with clean comfy beds, supplied a high chair, facilities with enough crockery/cutlery to get by for short vacation.

Furniture looking a bit tired, slightly underwhelmed when we arrived considering the price paid. TV didn't have any working channels, mentioned it, Engineer could visit next day but only there for 2 nights so wasn't major issue. Could benefit from a drainer for dishes and an airer for drying clothes. Sooo hot especially during the night, granted it was summer but couldn't open sash windows wide as we had a 1 year old.

Location is absolutely perfect and onsite parking was a bonus. The swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were good.

Breakfast - what breakfast???!!! a bowl with 2 stale croissants and a biscuit. This shouldn't be advertised as breakfast included. Porridge and drinks are chargeable. It's an absolute joke to say breakfast included. We went to the Aldi's accross the road and bought breakfast stuff. The carpets on the stairs to the apartment were not clean at all. No shower gel left in the showers at the pool. No lamps in the bunk bed room or in the livingroom so you could either have darkness or the ceiling spotlights. You can get a lamp for a few pound so I don't know why one wouldn't be available. The wardrobe is in the livingroom and the table and chairs are dated. Sofa felt a bit dirty. Just not what the pictures represented really.

Amazing place the stay with family

Beautiful very clean and comphy, quite at nite time there is a pool but we didn't get time as only stayed one nite as booked Saturday but will definitely be goin back for longer stay next time staff amazing very helpful :) also great to park ya car outside :)

Room was dirty. My husband ask for a hoover so we could clean. We hoovered the apartment. The electric box was loud and the bedroom door wouldn’t shut meaning we heard it all night. The main door to block 4 was being slammed shut in the evening with people coming and going, waking my 2 year old up. Swimming pool wasn’t clean. Our door wouldn’t lock without the physical key.

Easy breezy stay

Very nicely decorated, although now showing some slight wear and tear. Well laid out apartment with good storage facilities and decent kitchen. Really friendly staff on arrival and checkout. Easy and free parking right. Pool was an added bonus.

Despite it not being a boiling day the room was much too warm at night. Blinds a bit tatty. The booking system makes it sound like you will have the pool to yourself for an hour, however this is not the case. It’s up to 16 people per slot.

A little gem of a place!

Fantastic apartment, location, amazing gym, large swimming pool, sauna and steam room!!!! We are a family of 7 and wanted somewhere we could cook rather than eat out every night. Kitchen/ living room had a massive table all 7 of us could sit round, 3 bedrooms, 2 toilets/showers and a sofa bed. You are provided with towels. These don't get changed as its more like an apartment than a hotel. (But im sure they would give you more if needed) Great for a large family. Location couldn't have been better. Right across the road from Aldi, and other lovely wee shops- bus stop right outside or train 5 min walk. And could see the beach from our bedroom window. Also 5 min walk away. Complimentary coffee and pastries in the morning were a lovely delight and staff couldn't have been more helpful!! Can't comment on breakfast as we made our own. Opposite hotel there's a beautiful park and play area for kids. St Annes is a gorgeous place especially if you don't want to stay in Blackpool itself. We bought a family travel day ticket, jumped on the 11 bus and then a tram right into Blackpool. Unlimited travel on both throughout the day. Under 20 mins to get there! We can't wait to come back!!! Fabulous hotel, area and such friendly people!!!
