Nice room but dated hotel.

Room was nice, a little small.

There was a bad smell on the corridors, smelt like sewage. Lift was dated, staff did not tell me where the stairs were.

Perfect place to stay near Blackpool

This was our second stay at this hotel and we were very happy once again with our stay. The staff our friendly and helpful. The room is compact but clean and has everything you need for a short stay. We had dinner in the restaurant and this was great, quick service even though there was a function happening in the hotel and the food was really nice. The location is perfect for a quick trip into Blackpool on the train and then back again for slightly more peaceful surroundings!

Although I haven't given a lower score to reflect this, as this hotel is really great and there really isn't anything to complain about, the noise from the function disco was very loud and didn't end until midnight. This wasn't a big issue for us as we just turned the TV up but a heads up would have been nice. Others might not be so amenable. This will not stop us staying here again.

Receptionist, I had paid on booking.com app and she were saying I had not paid in front of other guests . Kept on that I hadn’t paid even when showing my payment. Very embarrassing and no apology when she found my payment .

Lovely hotel just not the greatest communication!

Very clean and welcoming the Christmas tree in reception area was beautiful

There was a lots of miscommunication regarding the fact we were bringing our dog even though I did state this at the very start of the booking, the lady I spoke to before we arrived (Julie) did remove the pet charge which we appreciate but we ended up with a room over the gym with a tiny bed and lots of noise in the morning! Bed was not very stable and very small so sadly my husband did not sleep well.

A night away to attend the Lowther Theatre.

We were welcomed by a very friendly receptionist who even upgraded my room to a sea view when I tentatively asked. The hotel was very welcoming and my husband and I were very impressed.

Lovely helpful and pleasant staff The room had everything you could need and was clean and comfortable. Nice bar area to have a drink and chat after we got back to the hotel. Sea from location. A very enjoyable stay.

Unclean towels were left in the bathroom on arrival and used toiletries like someone has been in the room before us or housekeepers didn’t clean the room.

We enjoyed our stay at the Glendower Hotel and we would recommend it to family and friends.

We liked the position of the hotel on the seafront. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the buffet in the afternoon and the breakfast was excellent.

Too hot. Dated. Needs work

The location was good. The breakfast was lovely.

The room was boiling. No way of turning through heating down. Staff couldn't decide if it was a central heating issue or a room issue. No one was bothered by our discomfort and did not offer any way of resolving it. The whole hotel was apparently affected but as we were there for a wedding other people had cold rooms with no heating. Despite us being told they couldn't turn it off and no other rooms available.

Pleasant room, good breakfast, restaurant fine and good service by staff at breakfast and evening meal.

A very rude waitress who disappeared before we completed our order ! Well overpriced at £16pp for a full breakfast that we never got what we expected A buffet breakfast would be a much better way of enjoying it !

A delightful if vrey short stay

Staff were excellent having to stay up until very ate due to huge problems with the delay on the trains. They were very polite and organised and I felt welcomed. Breakfast was also very good

Highly recommended

Excellent hotel, food is great, the room was clean and spacious. This time had a deluxe double so had an amazing view of the beach. The staff are always so friendly and helpful.

Fabulous location and lovely hotel.great breakfasts

Fabulous location Lovely bar area and Bistro, modern and contemporary design. Lovely Very clean and tidy Breakfast was fabulous. The breakfast staff were lovely. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

There were 2 weddings, one Friday night and one Saturday The guests were in the lounge and bar area. We didn’t manage to use the lounge during our stay because of this. Guests of the Saturday wedding were outside smoking regularly so it was noisy for us the the room above. Plus when they were waiting for taxis, it was loud. Wouldn’t stay at the weekends when weddings are on. The wedding room looked beautiful.

Pet friendly but room was a bit disappointing.

Warm and cozy. Location. Friendly staff in the morning at breakfast. Allowed dogs and had a cozy blanket and treats for them.

Carpet dirty and stained. Very thin walls between bedrooms. Grouting around wall and floor tiles messy and hadn’t been cleaned off after it had been applied.

Downstairs was lovely and clean.

The rooms were tiny. Not clean to the best it could be. Paint falling off the walls, cracks in the table, bath tub was missing paint, decorative pillow was stained with a white mark.

Nice view. Bed good, enough pillows. Good tea, coffee facilities. Water in bottles provided.

No Fridge which with the amount you pay per night I do not think is acceptable. If Airconditioner didn’t work. Also little fan in bathroom which did not even close to dry the towels even just a little. TV had 2 channels but they fixed that so Good. For what it was , did not think it was worth the amount, but suitable for short stay .

Beautiful hotel with fantastic large family room, great location and value for money.

Our family room was beautiful and very grand! It was such a big room and the hotel was beautiful. Such a great price for family room.

What made the short break so good was the excellent staff and free electric car charging thanks Glendower St Ann’s .ps food great as well.

I have nothing good to say about the property.

I booked a wheelchair accessible room, travelled from Essex to Blackpool to find stairs in the room. Staff showed no compassion offering the disabled member of the group a single room which would not be suitable for their needs. Staff did find a hotel down the road which was a single level apartment but still not suitable for someone with a wheelchair. And certainly not to the same standard as the hotel I booked. Overall extremely disappointed with best western.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Entrance is very welcoming, and pleasant. Food very good and breakfast lots of choice.

The room needs updating. Although reasonably clean the beds we found uncomfortable. The general decor is shabby. Also the bathroom needs completely renovating - ill fitting layout, some things missing or broken. To get to the room was a trial having to go up/ down many stairs , through doors it was like a maze. Parking was an issue however we did stay in the height of tourist season. It would be better if the hotel could issue parking passes to stop non residents using the car park.

Lovely staff from Reception, dining room and bar. Breakfast was fabulous, very tasty and plentiful. Served by friendly and polite staff.

We stayed the evening of a wedding and were put in a room directly over the disco which went on until midnight. They did move us for the evening after we complained, but really as it was an organised event you would have expected wedding guests to have been put in the rooms effected rather than other guests.
