Ideal place to stay ,and close to the centre.
I was alone ages 78 , and felt comfy trouble. Staff very helpful.

Do not look at the poor state of decor
Location was fine, we have stayed before and we always remembered the breakfast as so good! Perhaps we should not have returned
Breakfast. They need a new chef. Bacon must be cooked early and be under lights. Leathery. My wife was even offered an uncooked egg. Hash browns full of oil. Perhaps deep fay fryer was not hot enough. Croissants were frozen then heated. Not nice.

Reception staff very helpful and pleasant Breakfast 1st class and waitress staff brilliant Reception and lounge area very pleasant and tastefully decorated lots of seating The dining area was also tastefully done
The room we where allocated was very tired and dated (the bathroom needs attention) and overlooked a brick wall but it had everything we needed with a comfortable bed

Pleasant stay
Lovely spacious hotel with friendly staff, easy parking which is a big plus and room was comfortable and had an ironing board , for the price we paid was well worth it :)
Shower wasn't great, breakfast was pricey but did taste good, we were woken up in the night by room next to us engaging in frivolous activity at 4am lol but that's not the hotels fault!! Maybe a bit of soundproofing needed 😂
