The best choice in Podgorica

The hotel is located in the very center of Podgorica and in walking distance from many attractions, shops, restaurants and cafes. The hotel also has a restaurant of it's own which is excellent and serves great breakfast. The hotel has extremely high value for price ratio. The staff is very professional, friendly, polite and patient. I had the pleasure to communicate with Mrs. Ana D. as the representative of the hotel and she was so kind to accommodate all special requests during my whole stay. The room was spacious and had everything needed. I also had the chance to use the sauna, also very high standard. I will definitely stay at Hotel Hemera again and would recommend it to anyone, regardless whether it is for business or vacation.

from Hotel Manager to staffs made my stay memorable

From the moment I arrived, the staff Angela made me feel genuinely welcome. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had a breathtaking view of the city skyline. Breakfast was fresh and varied, with plenty of healthy options. I especially appreciated the small touches, complimentary tea and kettle and on the eve of my departure Miss Yelena took care of the Turkish bath as well as Miss Angela and don't forget Sir Ernis from Restaurant.

Very friendly and attentive staff, always prepared to help out. Nice location in a pedestrian area, with plenty of gastronomic possibilities nearby. Room was spacious enough, nice bed. Breakfast was fine, with a-la-cart selection.

Being surrounded by lots of bars also goes with a noise late in the night, but still I haven't found it much annoying. The room ambiance is somewhat dark, but again, it didn't bother much.

Centrally located, super clean and comfortable.

Bear in mind that you will be in the city center so expect noise coming out from the surrounding bars during the night. This is not the fault of the hotel but simply something to have into account.

The room design, the breakfast/restaurant. The staff was amazing.

Unfortunately there was a loud fan outside the window in our room so we could not sleep without earplugs. The Sauna was not perfect but still nice.

Very noisy!! The room is great, massive comfy bed, trendy sort of place. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice restaurant downstairs.

The NOISE from the bar opposite was unbelievable!! The windows have zero soundproofing and it went on until the early hours. Woken up by the cleaner banging about in the corridor. No tea / coffee facilities Very dark lighting

Cute small hotel with very friendly stuff

Charming little hotel right in the city center, cute design. Extremely friendly and helpful stuff especially Angela the receptionist. Nice restaurant with a great atmosphere and excellent breakfast options. Lot of cafes and restaurants in the area.

Being in the center, in the pedestrian zone, is nice for going out but less convenient for getting a taxi as cars can’t approach the hotel entrance so you’ll have to walk a little bit but not more than 100m. Is very loud during weekends but that’s the price to pay for being centrally located.

Location is very central. Staff were super nice. Breakfast is very good- they let you pick an item from their restaurant menu plus coffee and juice. Shower was excellent.

Room was way too hot for me with no way to adjust the heat it was stuck at 24 although i think the temperature was a bit higher. Lots of noise from the street below until very late at night, only around 3 pm it became quiet. Room has a smart tv but you cant access any apps so youre stuck with montenegro channels.

Nice stay at the Hotel Hemera

The room was comfortable. The raindrop shower was great. The bed was very large and had comfortable cushions. The room was quiet and you couldn't hear any noise from the road or other rooms. There were also robes and towels for using with the facilities. The mini fridge was also welcome. The staff were very helpful where there issues with our door not working, and kindly gave us a physical key instead of the key card that didn't work.

There was no kettle in the room, so I couldn't have a tea or a coffee. Would also be great if the hotel would offer room service, as it has a restaurant onsite.

Long story short I have been messaging the property via whattap for 2 weeks before I arrived to ensure the room has a smart TV so I could watch Netflix etc on arrival it only had cable channels when they told me and confirmed it had a smart TV where I could access YouTube etc anyway my wife on accident booked 1 day extra which for 1 week before my arrival I was attempting to contact them over but I heard silenced when just the day before they was responding about the tv how convenient, upon arrival I told them about my issue and there response was there’s nothing we can do as the hotel would go in a ‘ defecit’ are you serious , all I asked was for a refund for the extra day as the whole day I wasn’t even there , that was a extra 70£ for nothing the hotel , on top off that for the money your paying the fridge is tiny and barely works I had a drink in there for a whole day and half and it was warm , and let me not being in the air conditioning which did not work , I’ve stayed in rooms for 25€ which was more comfortable and had better facilities especially with Podgorica being 30° minimum not satisfied at all looks nice but your paying so much money to have a cable tv with a fridge & AC that’s on 1% power for what your paying I was shocked and expected so much better and the hotel policies are ridiculous I travel to Podgorica every week for work and this was not worth it at all in my opinion complete waste of money I’ve stayed in rooms 80% cheaper that had ice cold AC and a working fridge etc other than the looks it’s shit not catoring to there guests at all for a week I was texting them about the day extra refund they clearly just ignored me but it’s whatever now not going there ever again

27 degrees in the room, bad AC, cigarette smell, no entrance for cars

The AC Doesn’t work. It’s humid and over 27 degrees in the room. No taxi can drive you to the hotel as it’s a no-car zone. Even after a refund receipt by the hotel, they didn’t refund my stay!!! The walls are rough and can harm you.

I cancelled the stay via the hotel directly and the hotel didn’t refund me. They printed a refund receipt, but kept the money and never returned the funds. I have left the stay and didn’t sleep nor stay at it at all.

Very good option for central Podgorica

Right in the centre of the city, easy to find, helpful staff. Comfortable.

The hotel clearly wants to be design led and the aesthetic is cool, lots of concrete and quirky bits and pieces but if you are trying to be smart/cool you need everything to be spot on. The bathroom was weird - especially the basin. A couple of light switches didn’t work. None of this would normally matter but the hotel is trying to be high end.

Nice hotel, great location, no direct car access to hotel

Excellent location surrounded by many resturants, shops etc. Service levels especially in the restaurant were superb! Great breakfast. Vibrant area with only pedestrian access. There is no lack of places within walking distance. There was even a local beer festival 3 mins walk way with a live band playing!

This property in NOT accessible by car. If you have heavy bags or less able/elderly people with you , I would avoid this as the walk from the nearest drop off point is at least 100m. Car parking is a 10 min walk to the closest (100m) point to the hotel. Air conditioning could have been better in the room.

Room temp was not in our control. Opening windows for air not a better option because downstairs restaurant's cigarette smoke filled the room, and night street noise is insanely loud until 2:00-3:00 in the morning. If those things do not bother you, you are going to be in good shape.

The hotel is in a pedestrian area with a lot of shops and restaurants and bars. My room was very spacious and very decorative. I had a very good stay. Also both ladies at the reception were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was amazing, its a la carte in the restaurant and i love the green omelette. The coffee was also very good

There wasnt a coffee/tea set which is something i would expect in a 5 star (it wasnt promissed in the description, so iwas aware and brought my own electric kettle). Also loud music was heard until 1am from the Hilton rooftop bar, so earplugs are essential. Besides that all was great.

Good location, elegant room design and delicious breakfast

- The room design is unique and elegant. Our room was 25, the red one. Very nice room. - The location is in the downtown area where there are several restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel itself has its own restaurant and bar. - The breakfast is from the restaurant’s menu. It was delicious in general and we tried many of the dishes.

I couldn’t sleep without my earplugs on the first day ( Saturday) because of the loud music and beats coming from the restaurant and it’s neighbors vars. We had to check out one day before because of changes to our schedule.

you have to give 1 hour notice to use the spa - not convient on a 1 night stay parking - this listing on booking says they have parking but they don’t, was quite stressful arriving into the city at night and trying to find where to go loud in the room at night due to music outside
