Wonderful!

We rented this little gem on the spur of the moment for one night as a refuge from the rain. This little home is TRULY in the heart of Podgorica's Old Town, and the host/owner Zora was incredibly friendly and accomodating. The home is one of the oldest existing homes in this area, has a charming courtyard, and every necessity that could be needed for a stay of any length. The furnishings in the home were an eclectic mix of modern, antiques, and retro which made the home feel very warm and inviting. The 'Old Bridge' is just a short stoll away, and was definitely worth seeing, even in the rain. BTW The owner's son, uses the home as his art studio, so we were surrounded by beautiful examples of his work. Also, the ceramic studio next door has a great coffee shop, with very friendly hosts!

The ONLY thing that was even mildly disappointing was the comfort of the bed in the balcony room. It was a bit hard, but even this weary traveler was able to drift off to a refreshing sleep after a short while.

A beautiful home, run by beautiful hosts.

This place is beautiful, from the kiwi-laden terrace-covered courtyard, to the art gallery within, HeArt is a sight to behold. Marija and her husband met us and were so warm and welcoming, we felt at home immediately. Marija makes homemade cakes and drinks, which were laid out for our arrival- and all were excellent! Marija gave us really good recommendations for restaurants and things to do & see. The house is easy to find and perfect for exploring the Old Town, which was my favourite thing to do in Podgorica.

The mattress on our bed wasn't very comfy, but we would not let it put us off booking here again!

Everything was clean and as described. Marija and her husband are wonderful hosts and very helpful with local tips and recommendations. I didn't have time to use the comfortable living room much, but the full kitchen plus tea kitchen by the rooms was lovely. And what a beautiful courtyard!

Please note the bathroom floor ia a bit slippery.

Incredible hosts!

Our welcome was absolutely exceptional. Our host was waiting for us outside, saving a parking space for us in the twisty, narrow streets of the old town. He then took us inside, served us homemade lemonade and Kiwi juices, as well as homemade cakes! There is artwork everywhere and we felt like we had been welcomed into a home like we were family. The house has been in the family for a century and is a genuine Montenegrin home. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful warm welcome from Maria the hostess. The hotel has a nice courtyard with a huge kiwi tree to provide shade, and we were served homemade lemonade. The couple also gave us recommendations for food and local attractions.

While the place was great and the location too, the bathroom was a bit old fashioned.

We had a wonderful time staying with Ray and his family. They were incredibly hospitable and we couldn't have asked for a better stay. The house is incredible and filled with the finest details and art work that his parents have collected for decades. We can't wait to come back and see what else they have done with the place. They have some wonder ideas to grow the house into an art gallery or cafe. Whatever they choose they will be successful at... We guarantee it! We feel so privileged to have gotten to have wonderful chats with Ray and his parents and they served us the most incredible lemonade and homemade kiwi apple juice. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in the gate! Thanks so much again😊

Fantastic place to stay. My friend and I were met by the most welcoming host, and the place itself is much better than other hostels we’ve been to. There’s even a little art gallery in the building and a cozy terrace. Muy agradable y tranquila

Lo mejor de este establecimiento es, sin duda, sus propietarios. Encantadores y muy muy amables. Nos esperaron para darnos las llaves hasta muy tarde, y además nos recibieron con una sonrisa y sin darnos prisa por nada. Nos ofrecieron bebidas (zumos) y comida (pastel) caseros buenísimos. Cariñosos, simpáticos, divertidos. Nos dieron muy buenas explicaciones de donde ir a comer y que visitar. Una pasada, espero que estén muy bien y nos quedamos con su recuerdo en la memoria, entrañables.

El casco antiguo de Podgorica no es especialmente bonito, es un sitio diferente, un casco antiguo que no tiene nada que ver con lo que esperábamos. En todo caso, eso es una información que deberíamos de haber conocido nosotros, habernos informado mejor de que íbamos a visitar. Esto si, esta cerca de los mejores restaurantes de la ciudad y realmente se puede ir andando sin problema a todas partes.

Eine schöne Unterkunft für einen Aufenthalt in Podgorica.

Die Gastgeber sind überaus herzlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten bei einer Nacht gar nicht genug Zeit, die guten Sachen alle zu probieren, die sie uns angeboten hatten. Das Zimmer ist gemütlich und in super Lage in der Altstadt.

Un accueil exceptionnel dans une superbe maison de famille au coeur du vieux Podgorica

Les propriétaires de cette vieille maison de famille nous ont accueillis comme si nous étions des amis ou des invités de marque. Ils ont eu de délicates attentions pour nous. Nous sommes tombés sous le charme de cette maison avec son petit jardin entièrement ombragé sous une treille de kiwis, sa cuisine bien équipée, les salons joliment décorés transformés en salle d'expositions de peinture. La chambre était très confortable avec un balcon donnant au dessus de la verdure des kiwis. Les propriétaires parlent bien l'anglais et nous ont donné des conseils de visite et de restaurants que nous avons suivis. La maison se trouve dans le vieux Podgarica qui a souffert des destructions de la seconde guerre et à quelques mètres d'un grand boulevard qui mène dans la ville nouvelle. C'est bien dommage qu'il reste si peu de choses de la vieille ville ottomane.

Eigenaren zijn zeer gastvrij! Lieve mensen! Het voelde als een warme deken bij aankomst. Wij werden ontvangen met huisgemaakte cake, sap, snaps en fruit. Het voelde als thuiskomen. Erg mooie en gezellige inrichting! Alles is aanwezig en mag je eten, drinken en of gebruiken. Koffie, thee, fris, likeur, zonnebrandcrème, fruit, chips..... Erg snel internet!

Wij zijn geen hondenfans. De honden van de buren mochten wat ons betreft dan ook bij de buren blijven. Lopen over het terras van HeART. Wij hebben binnen ons ontbijtje gegeten.
