The guest lounge is lovely- very generous selection of teas, coffees, snacks and condiments.
Great communication from hosts.
Comfy bed.
Bedside light was useless. I’m sure I could have asked for a new bulb but it was late by then.
Could hear chatting from adjacent or room below.
Road noise - very loud trucks when late ferry came in

Beautiful area, a great place to walk, close to ferry and train station
We could not figure out how to turn the heat on. It ended up being fine because the bed duvet was very warm!

*In-room facilities good
*The guest lounge comfortable and well provisioned
*Given the building’s limitations, a remarkably good b&b but not really suited to anyone elderly or a little infirm (large people might have issues with the ‘bijou’ room sizes)

*The steep stairs and rope bannister difficult and a tad scary (we are all getting on a bit!)
*Rooms very small - difficult for the couple but not too bad for my single occupancy
*Noise from neighbouring bathroom fans a problem for Rm3
