Dinners to die for

Linda and Peter are excellent hosts. The guesthouse is comfortable and welcoming. I felt amongst friends. Peter's delicious dinners were such a godsend. Everyday was a gastronomical delight. Thank you.

Wonderful hotel made extra special by Peter and Linda who are the most amazing hosts.

Great breakfast. Dogs catered for and welcomed. Lovely hotel, guest lounge ideal. Secure bike storage. Hosts were remarkable. A large family gathering from 11 months to 88 years. Also 6 dogs. Nothing was to much trouble for the hosts.

A fantastic holiday made even more enjoyable by the wonderful hosts.

Breakfast and evening meal were superb! Lots of choice and beautifully cooked. Our hosts, Peter and Linda were very warm, welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were tastefully decorated and furnished. Beds were super comfy. Location in very easy walking distance to town, beaches and pier.

Great Hosts

Peter & Linda were excellent hosts and breakfast was very good. Peter was very happy to mix and match any breakfast cooked items for you and it was all cooked very well. Room was clean and serviced daily.

Didn't like would be a bit strong but bathroom was very confined and toilet was installed very close to the wall but functional.

The one downside to me was allowing pets in the breakfast room,I knew it was pet friendly and that's fine but I see a hygiene issue with dogs in the dining room.

Highly recommend Ashdale House, perfect holiday x

Peter and Linda are terrific hosts, we were made to feel very welcome and they are very dog friendly. Food was excellent both breakfast and dinner, compliments to the chef (Peter!) the location is great 10 minute walk from north and west beaches in a quiet area, we haven’t slept so well in ages. Would highly recommend staying here. Thank you for a fabulous holiday x

Very relaxing comfortable happy stay

The breakfast was very good, hot and good selection of full welsh, English. My room was very clean and comfortable. It is a place where dogs are made very welcome, which is great for dog owners.

Highly recommend. Everything is excellent. Plus, there’s a very sweet resident dog.

Peter and Linda are wonderful hosts and great people. Badger, their dog, is a brilliant member of staff too. Peter is a talented chef, making breakfast and 3 course dinners for the guests. The location is quiet (you avoid any sea gull noises, which you can’t avoid if the hotel was located on the promenade), within 10 minutes walk to the train station, shops and promenade. The room was a good size, clean, comfortable, modern look, and the lounge was a nice touch, with board games and books. The price was a bargain. I’d rather stay here than a 5 star hotel in North Wales (it was that good). They kindly let me store my luggage while I went out for the day. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. I look forward to going back when I’m in North Wales again.

I would have liked the water pressure in the shower to be a bit stronger, but it was still decent. Breakfast was served from 8:30am, which clashed with bus and train timings for going to attractions, so I couldn’t fit in time to have breakfast here.

Lovely stay at Ashdale

Very friendly hosts who went out of their way to make sure guests were comfortable. Clean comfortable rooms & a nice lounge to relax in at the end of the day. The warm atmosphere made sure that the guests felt at home, and it had a nice family feeling so that everyone who wanted to could socialise at breakfast time. Felt at home here, I would definitely return. Dog friendly B&B with dog sausages also shared at breakfast time :) Badger, the resident dog was super friendly too :) Great location to walk into town or to the Westshore beach.

hotel very close to the shops and sea front maybe a 10 minute walk away also plenty of car parking outside on road no restrictions Peter and Linda were friendly and a good breakfast also peter cooks an evening meal also didnt have myself as i ate in the day however guests told me they were good.
