Ideal location in centre of Caernarfon. Clean room with drinks and biscuits, plenty of towels, good shower, clean toilet, comfortable bed. Easy check-in via lock box.

Very simple, but absolutely enough!

The location and staff were excellent. Check-in and check-out were very convenient. After a rainy day of trekking in Snowdonia, I was exhausted, but I was able to recover here before leaving. It only had the essentials, but nothing felt lacking—in fact, the simplicity made it more than enough.

Check-out time is quite early, but it doesn’t matter to me.

It was near the castle

We had a lot of difficulty gaining access to the property, parking was restricted, warden controlled. We could not get the shower to work. The bathroom facilities were unacceptable, no plug in the. The room smelled.

I got to sleep at 3am. Outside was very noisy with people shouting.

The room and bedding were clean.

When we were told it was shared bathroom facilities we did not expect to be sharing with so many other rooms. There was one sink. Although 2 toilets only 1 had a light working. We never saw or spoke to any staff….all contact was through email.

Excellent location

Location was perfect inside the wall. Clean bed and towels and adequate sized double room. Clean toilets and showers. Tea/coffee and kettle provided in room. Allowed extra 30 min for check out , 11:00 instead of 10:30. Competively priced for the one night stay.

Room bit 'shabby ' could definitely do with a redecoration. My shower was fine, good pressure and nice and hot. The one my wife used was cold 🥶.

Functional and well located

Location was ideal. Room was spacious. It was quiet. Good tea and coffee making facilities and a couple biscuits.

It has been rather cheaply converted -giving it quite a hostel/studenty vibe e.g. the clear-door shower is directly in the corner of the room, the toilet door has no latch etc.

Excellent value property, clean, tidy and well appointed and located beautifully to see Caernarfon.

Great location and was able to walk to the castle area and beachside area well. Had a car park outside on the street but location for us was excellent. Room was clean and tidy, spoke to the woman who was ironing the linen and she was great to chat to, and interested in us. All the communication associated with the booking was great and key where expected with code. This met our expectations!

The property building appeared a little run down, but the room was clean, tidy and well appointed. The TV didnt work properly to begin with and no information about how to solve the problem. With persistence we did get this sorted, however. Upstairs, but not a problem for us.

Couldn't be more central, but parking is a problem. Would be good if the property gave a heads-up about this beforehand. I'm assuming I won't get a parking fine. I'm giving a generous overall score, as I did not enjoy my stay, but the price is OK, given the facilities/central location.

Tired property, with a loose floorboard in my room. Stepping on it was unavoidable, it lifted the bed-side table making it bang against the wall. I arrived in the evening and left early the next day. No one was there to check me in, but the person was admittedly very responsive via the booking.com app.

Location was great short walk from all activities. Room was exceptionally clean. Lovely comfortable bed. Plenty of space in room. Modern bathroom with hot water. Tea and coffee well stocked. Would definitely recommend and use again if i am in that area.

A "£40" room at a much higher price

The location is excellent for the castle and the town centre. It's a very quiet and peaceful street. It had the facilities advertised - the hot water worked, and there were two bedside lights (less common than you'd think!). But these are the hygiene factors! There was nothing to make me think "this is nice" Tea and coffee and a packet of biscuits provided was the only nice touch

The room could best be described as "passable". It was OK for one, but two would have been a squeeze. It was all just a bit "meh", to say the least. It was in dire need of decorating; the window was missing one of the two handles; there was no shade on the main light; the place seemed clean but there were hairs in the shower. The WiFi didn't reach the room, so the smart TV wasn't smart at all. There was a floorboard so loose under the carpet that it would upset the bedside table and spill any drinks on it. These are little things but they make the difference between a 4 and a 7. If it had been half the price it would have been OK, but last month I stayed in a room in Southampton which was twice as nice and at half the cost. I know this is a popular and expensive area, and it's August, but...

Shower didn't work and was dirty

Good location. Parking nearby (need to pay). Bed fairly comfortable.

Shower was dirty, mold in grout. Shower didn't work properly - sometimes it would turn on, sometimes it wouldn't. Mid shower, sometimes the water would just turn off. Decor quite old fashioned which doesn't bother me, but when old fashioned and dirty it becomes an issue.
