Best hostel weve ever stayed in

The hostel is absolutely stunning and the rooms are cozy and warm, not to mention so clean! Everything is well maintained and such an amazing standard. The area around the hostel is also beautiful, with ammenities close by. Everyone was so kind and friendly, and the staff were very helpful, we had a brilliant stay and would highly reccomend Totters to anyone visiting Caernarfon, or hiking nearby.

Just what we needed, and even better.

We were greeted with a warm welcome, and even got an early check that we requested. The room was spotless, very comfortable and just what we needed. Great location too. Look out for the cool basement dining room! Really excellent place, much recommended!

Ok for a night

The place is clean and tidy the owner is kind and respectful.But the place it smells really bad probably because it's an old house but you could put an air freshener in it to change that! A bit noisy trough the walls and the stairs but not too bad. It's a value for money if you're not too posh. We just needed a night to sleep as we been out and about exploring the surroundings.All in one if you would put an air freshener in the house that will change the impression of the house. Again for the price is a good value for money!

Well they said is plenty breakfast by the previous feedback posts. But all we find was some bred for making toast with butter and jam,a few crumpets and some cereals and orange juice. The owner said it's ok to have breakfast till 10 am so we waited till like 9.15am to be a bit more quiet but all we found is what I have written!

They were very friendly, the beds were really comfortable and our room was spacious. Very close to the sea front with bars in easy walking distance

Fabulous.

We had the loft and it was perfect. Quiet, comfortable and nice to have a fan. Beware though the stairs are steep. We knew that beforehand so only took a small bag of what we needed for the one night. The continental breakfast was good and nice you could help yourself especially if leaving early. Location is right by the promenade and the castle. No parking but there is parking nearby.

Fantastic Stay in the Upstairs Suite at Totters

We had a brilliant stay at Totters Guest House in Caernarfon and absolutely loved the upstairs suite. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable — a great place to relax after a day exploring the area. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the walled town and just a short walk from the castle and harbour. It made getting around on foot really easy, and the views from the suite were lovely. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Everything ran smoothly, and we felt very well looked after. Breakfast was simple but just what we needed to start the day — fresh and well presented. A quick note: if you’re travelling with a lot of luggage, be aware that the stairs to the suite are quite steep and narrow, so that could be tricky for some. Overall, a fantastic stay — we’d definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Caernarfon.

The best hostel that our family of 5 has stayed at!

What a gem! The staff members were incredibly friendly, helpful, and warm. They even helped us store our extra luggage so that it wouldn't take up too much space in our family room. The downstairs kitchen area was ideal, and our boys loved the assortment of games and toys both on the main floor and in the basement. Plenty of room to cook dinner for our family, and the free breakfast was the cherry on top of the cake.

There were a few ants in our room, but I think it's just bad luck with ants. It had nothing to do with the cleanliness of the place. It was extremely clean.

Welcoming host, great location, comfortable. Stayed here before climbing the Mountains in Eryri. Great base for the family. Plentiful breakfast, tea making facilities in the room and comfy beds. It was during a hot spell and as the building is very old, it didn’t feel too hot. Very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Location and ambiance around it was wonderful. It was an 1800 home built on the 1300(alone with the castle, base.

Superb Hotel in perfect location.z

Totters Hostel was perfect. We were so surprised how nice It was and how friendly Bob was. We had our own room and shared a bathroom with another room. Towels were provided and also some toiletries. Big rooms with tea & coffee and even breakfast provided.
