We stayed here and use it as the base for our day trip in Wales. The location is good, within walking distance to local restaurants. The hotel also comes with a good size indoor swimmping pool and sauna. They limit the number of people so the swimming pool is not crowded and you get plenty of space.
The only drawback is that the room can be a bit outdated and not soundproof. But it’s not a big problem for us.

Had a lovely stay in the celtic royal staff on reception were lovely and helpful, breakfast was part of the booking and it was very good everything was hot and well stocked up . The pool was excellent very well looked after.
Would definitely return.

Everything was nice. Early check in was granted, pool and sauna is nice. Friendly staff throughout the hotel. Good breakfast with friendly staff

On arrival we were allocated a room which we were disappointed with, it was dark, stale smell, window was difficult to open. We requested an alternative room & moved to a room at the front which was brighter. No air conditioning but a fan was supplied. We had to request the carpet be vacuumed due to visible hairs on it, but it really needed a good clean throughout.The hotel rooms are in need of refurbishment. The dining areas & lounges were ok. On a positive note the staff were very polite & helpful, also the breakfast was very good.
