Wonderful stay and host

The breakfast was wonderful, the shower, and the host was attentive and friendly.

It was my fault for not arriving earlier so parking was an issue but thankfully I found one across the street of the property. Wish i stayed longer with my mother. Very busy for the middle mosel wine fest so could not make it to the castle.

Good location, Friendly staffs

Friendly staffs, but spoke almost no English. It was announced as a restaurant & hotel, but actually it is a B&B. Food for breakfast were served in two different locations, but we are not told by anyone, so we could only took part of the food we saw. The coffee in the breakfast was not enjoyable.

This was an ideal 2 night stop on our route to Austria from the Channel Tunnel.

The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of cold meats and cheeses as well as hot options. Our room did not have air conditioning but a quiet fan was provided which kept the temperature pleasant in spite of the very hot summer weather. The bed was comfortable and the ensuite shower room was clean and spacious. The hotel is in a very quiet location in Kues, with plenty of free parking available. There are restaurants within easy walking distance and even more choice in the picturesque old town of Bernkastel less than 15 minutes walk away.

The room was really nice. The sheets very confortable. The shower had a full glass cover so that you don't spray water everywhere. The staff was very friendly.

The street noise can be pretty loud in the morning but not a deal breaker.

Everything was perfect. The room with the view at the river and a big bed. Free of charge water, coffee, tee, fruits and snaks any time you want. We also wanted to have our breakfast on the terrace and they have arranged a table for us outside even if the breakfast was normally inside because it was chilly outside.

We loved it

The owner was so friendly. Even though I spoke broken German, she really did her best to understand me and help us out. The rooms we’re so clean and comfy. Loads of facilities and there was free parking just across the hotel, so we could watch our car if we wanted to 😋 I have no words for breakfast, because it was absolutely amazing. They had absolutely everything you could wish for. The location was also amazing. Just a 15 minute scenic walk from Bernkastel-Kues’ old city centre.

Nice and comfortable place

This is a quite place near the River and a free public parking lot across the street. The communication was done in German, which I could handle, otherwise google translate will do just as well if you are unsure. You are given a code and the key gets dispensed from a box at the front door. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel offers excellent and abundant breakfast buffet and good coffee.

Excellent breakfast and large room

Large attic room with spacious modern bathroom. Excellent breakfast with good choice of cold dishes and fresh local bread. Close enough to walk in to both Bernkastel and Cues and also very pleasant walk through woods to castle. Provision of self service hot and cold drinks in the entrance hall.

Noise from traffic and also very hot room which was difficult to cool even with the provided mobile air conditioning unit.

De locatie van het hotel was prima, een lekkere wandeling naar het plaatsje was goed te doen nog geen 10 min lopen. Aardig ontvangen. Het ontbijt was goed en zeer uitgebreid, de kamers netjes.

Tolles kleines Hotel

Parkplatz am Haus, die Lage nur 15min zu Fuß in die Altstadt, die Mosel direkt vor dem Haus. Die freundliche Begrüßung und während des Aufenthaltes immer freundlich und Auskunftsbereit. Moderne sehr saubere Zimmer und tolles Frühstück.

Fijn hotel op goede locatie.

De locatie is prima, ongeveer een kwartier lopen tot in het centrum. Goede parkeergelegenheid aan de overkant van de weg. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en lekker, De kamer was goed van grootte, en het was erg schoon.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Es war alles da was man braucht. Die selbstgemachte Marmelade war sehr gut. Die Besitzerin und das Personal waren sehr freundlich.
