Kaya Great Northern Hotel, London

Fantastic breakfast

This was one of the best hotel stays I've ever had in my 50 years on earth and 15 years of frequent traveling. The property is at a great location because you can easily get on any train, bus, or access a car transport to anywhere. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and is attended by very kind staff. I contacted them ahead of time and though they couldn't promise anything they were actually able to get me a room for my early arrival at 7am!! The beds were perfectly soft and the bedside had 2 usbc and USB plugs as well as uk outlets available. Fluffy robes and sports in the bath ready for use. A bottom to open and close blinds and curtains by the bed. I had a bathroom that was more accommodating to wheelchairs, so it was a Wet Room. I think those should automatically come with 2 bath floor towels or more. Things get to get out of hand with water everywhere. Lol. One thing I really loved and had never experienced anywhere was the pantry room at the end on every floor that has treats, fruit, coffee and tea available for guests anytime. The food prices were reasonable and it was actually delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room did not have a security latch on the door and anyone from the street could get in, hop on the elevator, and access any floor even without a key card. It was hard if you had a car to find parking nearby.

Great location and clean.

Sounds pedantic but for the cost of the stay i would expect the coffee machine to function in my room. That was disappointing

The room was well-appointed and well-laid out. Great location for St Pancras International Station.

Staff were not apologetic at waking me up at 11.30pm to ask if I had a tap on as there was a leak somewhere below the room. No 'sorry to wake you' or 'sorry for disturbing you'. Given how expensive the room was for the 14msq room (over GBP300) for the one night, I would have expected the staff to be more polite.
