    If you want to stay in the Bloomsbury Holborn area, Kimpton is the best

    Wanted to try the dinner at the Fitz’s Brasserie and had certain expectations. Staff were not sure whether dinner credits could be used on à la carte or not, different staff had different response. Waited for almost an hour to find out our starters were missing and sent to another table. Served us with ice cream of wrong flavours. Staff claimed there was a problem with kitchen staff, the experience felt unprofessional and unpleasant.

    It looked grandeur on the outside but this was not a 5 star experience for us! There were no basic greetings by the receptionist who checked us in . The interaction was cold compared to other 5 star hotels we stayed in . The room was small and the lift was slow. There were homeless people in the vicinity and beggars sleeping rough right outside the hotel vicinity. The surrounding was filthy and dirty . There are so many 5 stars hotels in London with better services and well trained front staffs .
