Room was extremely clean, tidy and well appointed. The bed was so comfortable I had the best nights sleep I’ve had in years!
Staff were all extremely friendly, pleasant and helpful. Particularly the beautiful young lady behind the bar on Friday evening, who we had some fun with over our 2 bottles of wine!
Thank you all very much for a lovely stay.
Nothing.

Service was top-notch throughout- from our initial booking to final check out: friendly, professional and with a personal touch. Staff knew which room we stayed in, made us feel welcome and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and appreciated. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we could ask for. The restaurant was also a treat- with special compliments to the chef!

We stayed in The Orchard room at this property and it was comfortable, cosy, well decorated and the view out to the gardens was lovely.
We really liked the room, the only fault was one of the lights in the bathroom didn’t work. Otherwise it would be 10/10

Lovely looking pub, clean and today room
We were staying in a ‘cottage’ Norton the premises. Bathroom was quite cold. The pub was empty and when we went for a drink after dinner , which we had at the farmers dog it was a. It uncomfortable as they wanted to close up.
Also- the sausage at breakfast was awful- big chunks of hard garlic and stringy herbs

Our warm welcome and lovely touches in our room like the locally made toiletries, very fluffy towels, tea and coffee facilities as well as water by the bed. Breakfast was amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We didn’t have an evening meal but will next time as it all looked very tasty.

This place is a real gem, I booked 2 nights for my partners 50th and it was a great location for our lunch at The Farmer's Dog. We had dinner at The Swan the first night and the food was fantastic. The pub itself has a lovely atmosphere and the staff really are wonderful. They made our stay very special and relaxed. I would not hesitate to recommend this pub. We stayed in the cottage over the road and the room was so clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also fantastic with nothing to fault. I imagine in the Summer it's even better being able to walk more and sit outside. Also very dog friendly if you have a pooch.
Nothing! The only thing I would point out is if you sleep downstairs like us, you can hear the people staying upstairs so probably not great if you are a light sleeper or take ear plugs! This is not the fault of the place though, just a reality.

Staff were friendly and welcoming, pub had a nice vibe and food looked good. Room was nice with plenty of space and underfloor heating.
Only issue we experienced was parking on arrival as it was peak lunch time at the pub.

We stayed one night as we were going to The Farmer’s Dog that evening for a meal.
It was in a perfect location for us.
Our room was lovely, spacious, nice bathroom and great views of the garden. We were lucky enough to see a number a Red Kites from our room.
We had a few drinks at The Swan which was so cosy and welcoming. All the staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was great.
We would love to come back in the summer time.

The property is in a beautiful setting in the countryside. The rooms are behind the pub itself so there is no noise at all.
There was nothing about the property I didn’t like - the only very small criticism is the duvet was a bit thin, ideal in the summer but in December, not quite warm enough, although the rooms are heated.

Lovely room, comfortable bed & everything we needed, we were only there for one night. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was very good. Would stay again.
The blind in the bathroom could do with a good clean as could the window frames.

Lovely pub and accommodation. Food is exceptional. A cut above the rest. Staff are friendly and clearly care.
The only slight criticism is the late check in time of 4pm. 3pm is standard. Also check out is 10am and again it’s quite early.
Their website could also do with giving more information on the rooms and especially more photos.

It is beautifully situated with fantastic country views. The pub itself is lovely and full of character. Staff are super friendly and helpful, food is great, breakfast is hearty and good beer selection. Accomodation is clean and warm, only thing missing from our room was a proper shower.
Very minor for a one night stay but bathroom did not have a proper shower, it had a stand alone bath with shower attachment. Would have been an issue for longer stays.

The location in the village was really lovely.
The dinner was very well cooked and delicious . We could tell the chef was very adept,
The room was overpriced as the bathroom had a shower over the bath . No dressing gowns etc . Tea cups too small.
Would have liked slightly more choice for dinner especially as we stayed two nights, and the fish dish I was hoping to have on the second night had been changed . On second night we were given a very uncomfortable table to sit at where benches were narrow and squashed
Would have like fresh fruit for breakfast not frozen.

Excellent choice of breakfast but having dined the previous night we only had room for toast & porridge & the porridge was extremely tasty. Honestly cannot fault the food on any level
Absolutely nothing

Beautiful rooms. One of our rooms had a wet room, the other a bath . Very comfy bed & warm, clean , good hostess tray & coffee machine. The pub itself has excellent range of beer on draught as well as spirits & a good wine list. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented & generous portions. All staff are very polite & service is very good. Personally we would book again without hesitation & would definitely recommend
Nothing absolutely nothing

Our room was lovely and even the breakfast area and pub were beautiful. Just a shame it was a flying visit for us and we didn’t get to spend more time there. Staff were helpful and friendly too.

The originality of the rooms.
Breakfast host was lovely
Perfect poached egg!
Full English breakfast was a little dry.
Fried bread tasted very oily, like it had been deep fried.

The bedroom was immaculate . Bed exceptionally comfortable . Coffee machine in the room . Couldn’t fault it . We stayed for dinner in the evening and the food was first class . Staff very welcoming !! Breakfast was very good too . Nice selection .

Beautiful pub, place is stunning!
Breakfast was lovely, plenty of options.
Only niggle is that there was no shower. Beautiful free standing bath though.
Bottled water in the room was from the tap. Seeing the price of the room per night, maybe freshwater would be more fitting.

Location very nice.
4pm book in.
8.30 to 9.30 breakfast on a Sunday morning!
Vacate room by 10am.
Breakfast not great.
Pub really scruffy upon arrival Saturday afternoon.
Not good value for money
