2 star hotel, not 4 star!

There is nothing i like about this place, maybe the location and the friendly staff.

Our stay at Ananta Legian Bali was extremely disappointing. The property is very outdated and poorly maintained. The shower had no hot water, towels were dirty, and the pool was not clean. Breakfast was à la carte and the food quality was bad , even the crackers tasted like old oil. We also did not receive our refund. We ended up paying for another hotel just to avoid staying another night here.

Location was perfect and the pool access was great of you have kids. The warung murah is nearby and yummy.

We had absolutely beautiful and lovely people at this location however the shower was at best “lukewarm which while being very disappointing was not the end of the world as the days were typical hot Bali days all the time !!!-A great number of people including some people that we were introduced to elected to leave early and found alternative accomodation due to the lack of hot water(and in fairness were given a full refund without issue. We to when querying reception(who again I stress were absolutely fantastic)offered us a full refund to leave but ultimately offered myself,my wife and son free breakfast each day

I believe having run large commercial buildings previously that the shareholders have perhaps run out of money and in my opinion are just scraping by at this time-because they were so quick to offer a full refund for any nights not stayed-I assume management have made that a blanket rule for all staff when hearing complaints about the lack of hot water !!!

POOL WAS NICE BUT VERY SHALLOW

ADVERTISED BUFFET BREAKFAST AND IT WAS AL- A -CARTE, WHICH I DONT LIKE, ROOFTOP BAR WAS LONG AGO CLOSED AND UNSAFE ROOFTOP RUSTING AWAY. THE RESORT NEEDS ALOT OF MAINTENANCE . WATER PRESSURE VERY LOW AND WATER WAS SALTY (I THINK RECYCLED WATER- NOT GOOD FOR HAIR OR SKIN) WATER HAD A STRANGE SMELL ALSO.

the aircon in the room didn’t work well so we moved rooms and that aircon was no better. also they sell you that they have a roof top bar but there is no bar on the roof top at and it was very run down we’re it was.

The location of the hotel was central. Closed to many shops, restaurants and the beach. Everything was fine.

The location was the only good thing about this hotel, the room had plenty of maintenance issues and aren’t very sound proof, you can hear everyone in the adjoining rooms and people at the pool very noisy all hours of the day and night

Not bad at Ananta

Staff were fantastic, good location, not far to beach, some good warungs at end of street, rooms were clean, thank you Ananta!

The pool is very shallow, no deep end, swim up bar and room service not operational yet but that is expected due to post-covid but did have numerous correspondence with hotel prior and no mention of this, overall was an enjoyable stay however
