The location was great. The beach was right there. The staff were very friendly. Was off season so not over busy which made it more comfortable for using facilities.

I had booked a "double bed" through here and upon entering my room I had 2 single beds put next to each other with their own sheets. Was told only at 50% capacity. I only stayed 3 nights so didn't raise the issue with reception, bed was comfortable. The breakfast was nice but lacking variety.

Not much.

Pool closes too early-6pm. Bad limited breakfast and times. Can't swim before 7am. No towels before 8am. Very tired rooms. Bad command of English language. You have to pay for ice. Horrible and dirty gym. Slippery tiles. Cockroaches in the room. Lumpy mattresses. That's enough. You get what you pay for.

Good quality for the price

As many others have said, breakfast, staff, pool area and location were all excellent. No safe in room but security boxes available at reception and can be accessed 24/7. Rooms, whilst comfortable enough, were run down and quite old. Cleaning and restocking of the tea and coffee was lax. Grounds were well kept and the location is brilliant. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. And I was very satisfied with our stay at the Jayakarta.

We love the location and all that the resort has to offer. Great value for money and the buffet breakfast is always a great start to the day!

Showers and water pressure/temp control wasnt the best but we dealt with it. Just a note that we had to put dirty dishes outside as soon as we finished otherwise the ants come in.

Good but disappointed with blocked bathrooms

I booked interconnected room as the room Type for 2 of our 3 rooms - I was surprised as normally you cannot book (normally it’s on request). But the option was there with a rate so I booked it. But we didn’t get it. It was side by side though at least . We booked a walk in shower for my dad. He did get that but the shower flooded and was clogged. The kids room the sink was blocked also. It made the bathrooms feel dirty and unclean because I am sure we were not the first to complain the drains are blocked . We were in a very dark block - furthest from the reception and looked out to the hotel wall next door. Regardless we enjoyed the facilities. It was our 4th time here but not sure we’d return. These cheap rooms probably need some attention. But we come for the pools and the beautiful gardens. Regardless of the bathrooms I still love the beautiful gardens. Staff were helpful. Restaurant staff are always helpful. Breakfast is good.

Bathroom sink was blocked and second bathroom shower drain was blocked and floor flooded. We hooked 3 rooms.

We had a great holiday and would definitely stay there again.

The location was amazing. Arrived New years Eve and the place was pumping. Lots of fun around the villa. The staff were a highlight. So polite and friendly and always willing to help. The rooms were tidy and kept clean daily. Aircons worked a treat. Good place to have breakfast daily. Gardens were well kept.

The buffet dinner wasn’t as great. Had limited choices due to coming a little later. Had a strange door in bathroom that opened up to the roof and found it a bit unsafe.

Outstanding Service and True Balinese Hospitality.

We stayed at The Jayakarta Bali Beach Resort & Spa over the Christmas and New Year period and had a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. The resort has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and is perfectly located, making it an ideal place to unwind while still being close to everything Bali has to offer. The grounds are beautiful, the facilities are well maintained, and the festive season was handled smoothly despite it being a very busy time. A special mention must go to the housekeeping team, particularly Ade and Dwi, who provided exceptional service throughout our stay. Their attention to detail, friendliness, and genuine care made a huge difference to our experience. Our room was always spotless, thoughtfully prepared, and they consistently went above and beyond with warm smiles and kind gestures that truly reflected Balinese hospitality. Thank you to the entire Jayakarta team for making our holiday so memorable. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and well-run stay in Bali.

A Coastal Alternative for Your Bali Stay

The staffs are all helpful and very attentive to our needs. Hotel is also near the beach so you can easily explore the Legian up to Seminyak beach.

My recent stay at the Jayakarta Hotel fell short of expectations for several reasons. Primarily, I was downgraded from a booked Apartment Suite to a standard Deluxe room without a clear explanation; I would have appreciated a transparent discussion regarding the differences between these units before being moved. Additionally, the room felt dated, and the shower temperature was incredibly difficult to regulate. Finally, the breakfast buffet offered a very limited selection that did not justify the 250K IDR price point, especially considering the superior dining alternatives available nearby.

People claiming all the pool beds with their towels, disappearing for ages and not using them. The cranky old lady at check-in who does not now how to show good communication skills and should learn to smile and show compassion or perhaps retire..

This hotel resort was probably one of the worst we have ever stayed in, anywhere.

After checking in and shown to our rooms, we were firstly horrified at the distance where the room was in location to the pools and bars. Basically, the room was situated just off the beginning of the main driveway in, next to a carpark and about 250 metres from reception. Secondly, the rooms were nothing like the photos on the Booking. com website. They were old, unkempt, dirty and very basic. One hour later and after been shown 2 other alternatives, we decided to upgrade to a suite which was our only option of having a half decent room. For this we had to pay an extra AU$450 for the 3 nights. On the second night, a squirrel had defecated all over one of the balcony chairs. It was very much diarrhea and not a good sight to wake up to. We asked the room service attendant if he could clean our room whilst we were at breakfast due to the mess, however this didn't happen until after midday. The outdoor verandah and railing were also filthy with dust and grime. Breakfast was average. Coffee was too strong and bitter. There are 2 sections for the breakfast. The staff in the smaller breakfast section, were lazy and a bit rude. Most of the female staff were busting out of their work uniforms, especially around the waist and hips. You could see large splits and bare skin where the material no longer fitted. The egg chef only cracked eggs, certainly not a smile!!! The pork sausages and bacon had a disgusting taste. Later worked out they were using sow meat.

The whole venue needs serious upgrading and a good clean. Staff need retraining and have better attitudes. For breakfast, they could offer more variety and quality, better grade on pork and employ staff who want to serve guests, not play on their phones all morning. The dining section could be cleaner and the food hotter. The overhead Balinese music was also too loud and became annoying playing the same tune.

Great hotel close to everything.

Loved the proximity to the beach, food and shopping. The staff are amazing and attentive. Breakfast buffet was great, make sure to say hello to the egg man who makes the omelettes. Grounds are immaculately maintained. Very well priced. Pools were great. Loved the swim up bar!

The only thing I would say is the showers need upgrading.

Wouldn’t stay again

Was given two rooms for a family of 4. 2 adults and 2 young children ages 2y and 7y The children were expected to be in their own room on balcony floor. When told staff that was no doable and completely unsafe as the balcony rails were dangerous and they could easily fall through I was told I can give a key back and all sleep in one room, when I said yes that’s fine can you move a spare bed in and refund me a room stay they said no but wanted the key back sell the room to someone else for there stay. The shower pipes bursted black water everywhere all our stuff got disgusting and wet and no apology or rush to help. No happy hour! And also no kid food option. Was complete let down for the price we paid

The pool closes at 6pm far too early for a massive resort. My first room was tired and run down and faced the main road. The next room was better but the location was near both pools so very Loud. The gardener starts to early so woke me each morning by all the noise he was making. Also the breakfast was the same each day So by day 4 I didn’t want to eat breakfast at the restaurant
