Good location, staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean, beds comfortable, single bed actually adult sized 3’, bathroom well stocked, breakfast very good.

Will definitely book this hotel when we return to the area.
We requested a ground floor room and there was no problem. The bar, reception and breakfast room all easily accessible and comfortable. Very helpful and pleasant staff.

To be fair, a pleasant stay.
Room was very good, clean and large with a very good shower. Restaurant food that I had was very good. Chicken and Bacon Cesar salad and Blackberry and Apple crumble with custard. Very good coffee at breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Wifi was a nightmare until they gave me a password for their private server.
Breakfast ok but they were very careful what they gave you and more attention could have been made to replenish things like bread, cheese meats and orange juice etc. Probably because staff were busy waiting on tables. I would have preferred a full buffet instead of waitress service. If you like cereal you're quids in. Would have been nice for some fresh fruit and natural yoghurt. A little disappointing for £16. Bar closed a little early for a hotel I thought.

It wasn't far from the town you could order food in and they had no issues and when requesting extra pillows they came through
The room was not clean there was mud on the bed and the carpet was dirty
