Excellent! Really recommend this place, beautiful, warm, clean, cozy, well located, and the owner is very nice. Great breakfast too!
In one of the rooms, the wc is integrated in the room, so perhaps when accompanied, there might be a lack of privacy. Althought this was not our case :)

Manager was lovely.
Said they would have gluten free bread and they did.
Lovely breakfast.
Superb and charming location in a lovely part of town.
Clean.
Beautiful and cleverly decorated.
The steps to the rooms are STEEP, STEEP, STEEP AND NARROW, NARROW, NARROW.
There is construction going on for the street that leads to the B&B and that makes it very, very difficult to find. Recognize that the B&B faces the town plaza. Once you see the plaza, it's easy going!

Really quaint old inn, with a great location in the centre of old Dinan. Excellent breakfast, helpful and welcoming staff.
We stayed in the third floor room which was just lovely, but somewhat challenging for two seventy-year-olds to get luggage up to and down from. Very narrow old medieval staircase between second and third floor - bit scary at our age.

Beautiful property in a fabulous location with very warm reception from our hostess. Excellent breakfast and would strongly recommend La Maison Pavie and the enchanting town of Dinan.

Beautiful, comfortable quiet room on 1st floor with luxurious double shower. Catherine was a charming host and so helpful with information.
Slightly inconvenient having to walk back after checking out to return the parking pass but really not a problem given the spotlessly clean and secure central parking provided in the underground car park.

It’s a beautifully old house carefully modernised for all comforts and a wonderful breakfast.
Unfortunately the square outside was being upgraded so there was no adjacent parking so took a long time to find a way to the hotel ! But then good parking was provided by the hotel

Good quality and variety at breakfast.
Excellent staff.
Convenient location. Easy walk to restaurants and shops.
Loved the old house but the steep stairs could be a problem for old or infirm guests.

Perfectly located in town centre. Dinan is more than beautiful and this spot ticked all the boxes. Fantastic hosts always available and helpful. The room and building itself is fabulous.

The communication before arrival is good and smooth, Lea well organized everything for our stay and car parking.
Upon arrival, there was roadwork but Lea contacted us to make the check-in very easy. We love the room very much, it is much better than the photo shows. The style is unique. We had a great time here.

Charming medieval house. Dining room and lounge excellent.
We had visited 13 years ago and had larger room on first floor. This time, on floor up the extra flight of very steep stairs. I found the steep stairs very difficult. The wash basin very strange. Nowhere to put toiletries, suitcases.

This ancient building is beautiful and impressive - the room was large, with lovely modern facilities.
The staff was friendly, helpful and professional, very nice!
Parking is available in the Historical Parking, which is great but you must get the card for access from the hotel before parking
I was unaware the main square in front of the building was being renovated; this caused some difficulty getting luggage to the hotel.

Great location in the heart of the historic district. It was fun to stay in a historic property as well, and having access to parking nearby was critical for us.
The toilet was in a small space that didn't get good ventilation and the sink was outside in the middle of the room up a step which was a bit hazardous at night.

Fantastic experience from start to finish! Beautiful room and the breakfast was amazing!

This place is a treasure, an exquisite old 'maison à colombages' (half timbered home) with so much character and care in every space, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, with wonderful staff! The room was luxurious, the bed magnificent and the help-yourself tea, coffee, madeleines etc generous. Breakfast was a feast of fruits, pastries, cheeses (superb!), all carefully prepared, shared with fellow guests and accompanied by lovely chats (with the wonderful Léa) and plenty of advice about Brittany, including an excellent list of places to visit which was duly followed up! Only wish I had stayed more than 1 night! Would highly recommend.
Nothing!

The location of the hotel is superb and it doesn't feel like a hotel, more a home. Included breakfast was excellent with the chance to chat to fellow guests around the one lovely table.
The directions are somewhat confusing, I'd be happy to suggest a better way. Also no mention from the hotel or Booking.com that the entire 'place' in front of the hotel and church is dug up with zero car access. But Catherine met us and directed us with luggage and to the car park.

Modern facilities in a characterful historic property.
Comfortable bed and nice linen.
Excellent breakfast.
Good location and good lounge.
Parking included in the room rate
Very friendly and exceptionally helpful host.
I struggled with the bathroom tap as it was difficult to work and when it did work , it splashed on the bed,as there were no bathroom walls.

The property was like time traveling back to the Middle Ages, but with modern day comforts and lovely stylish decor. The shared salon and breakfast room were lovely and our room wonderfully charming.

Fantastic locally made “Oceopin” Breton toiletries that smelled so good! Delicious breakfast spread highlighting local ingredients, including Saint Malo yogurt, six local jams, salted butter caramel, croissants, etc. The hosts will even whip up some eggs for you, or heat up milk for a special coffee drink.
My hosts were Catherine and Léa and they could not have been more kind, genuine, and welcoming. The house and my room were spotless. Catherine was exceedingly kind to make up my room early for me, knowing that I was coming on the early side, which was such a treat unexpected. I also thoroughly enjoyed the sitting room. The house is decorated very tastefully with Asian inspiration in homage to it being the home of Auguste Pavin, a local diplomat who served in Indochina (you can find his statue in the Jardin Anglais, my favorite quiet spot!). There were many other thoughtful touches like water bottles and traditional cookies in the room and a special Parisian Mariage Frères teas available (in a myriad of flavors including decaf) 24/7 in the breakfast room.
I had the Champassack room and it was perfect- quiet, cozy, and facing the gardens. The smell of salt in the air, the seagulls’ call, the starry starry night out the window…!
I also liked that this room had a dedicated WC with a door.
The shades on the skylights or cool dash they can be open or shaded or completely blackout.
Beautiful shower with lovely waterfall faucet.
There are automatic timed lights in the corridors and staircases for the nighttime, and I noticed that they timed out sometimes when I was still walking up the precarious stairs at night. Not a problem for me, but should be noted. As well described on their website, this would not be a good choice for someone with reduced mobility.

coffee / tea facilities in room would be lovely

Everything was just perfect. The building is a beautiful mix of old and modern, where necessary. The room was spotless and the bed very comfy with a good selection of pillows. The host was fantastic and spoke excellent english. Breakfast was lovely.
Breakfast is served on one large dining table. It was slightly awkward because you're shoulder to shoulder with complete strangers. That's the only thing I can criticise and you might have different guests during your stay. Will definitely stay again

Very well decorated. Very central location. Little touches like the soap, biscuits, water, etc. Friendly and helpful proprietor. Comfy bed. Breakfast was great—a quite grand “petit dejeuner”
Some people would find the stairs challenging. We did not.

An amazing and characterful property right in the heart of historic Dinan. Stephanie and Catherine’s house is beautiful inside and out! Our room was very comfortable; and the breakfast super with lots of variety on offer.
Only gripe? Could the large towels be larger! In such a luxurious place, it was a bit disappointing to be fighting with a motel sized towel…..

What an amazing place to be based whilst in Dinan! Everything is done beautifully here, from the bedding that makes you feel like you could stay in bed all day, to the delicious breakfast that makes sure you don’t! The building is stunning, and the decor is incredibly sympathetic. Catherine is a fantastic host and the location means you’re right in the heart of the city with everything at your fingertips but it’s still amazingly quiet! On top of that, parking is super close which makes things easy.
Unfortunately the square at the front of the property is currently undergoing huge renovations which means it is all dug up and there are lots of machines around. However, it didn’t really impact too much - and the plus is that they are turning the square into a green space so I’m the future it will make this place an even better stay than it already is!!

loved the old building , it’s rooms has been renovated to a high standard. Our room was so comfortable .
Breakfast was well done . There was a sense of a community at breakfast with all guests joining in with conversation.
The location in the old Town couldn’t have been better

Greeting by Ghislain, easy parking, help with luggage, clear explanation of hotel and surrounds. Wonderful old building with character, excellent breakfast
Being English and less laissez faire, we would have preferred our toilet to be in another room, with a door separating the bedroom from the toilet!
