A warm welcome and a lovely warm room with easily adjustable heating- so welcome on a winter evening arrival. Location is fabulous! We likes the eco shower head that lit up in different colours, helping you to save water. I want one! Everything very clean. We had the family room on the first floor. Very comfortable beds and enough space for our luggage. A quiet night. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice! Staff very friendly and bilingual. We would like to come back for more than one night.
No complaints.

Perfect location in historic centre.

Central location, amazing building.
Our room had a sloping ceiling that made it hard to move around the room. The boiler broke down during our stay, so no hot water. Not really the hotel’s fault, and they were very apologetic. Just unfortunate.

Lovely place to stay and great location.

Our room was not in the main hotel but down the stree, in an alley, and up a few flights of stairs. However, it turned out to just fine for our one night and was perfectly located in the old city of Dinan. We simply walked 2 minutes back to the hotel for breakfast. Happily, we were permitted to use the parking lot beside the hotel even though we had forgot to book it. The decor in the room was fine, although perhaps getting a little dated, but fulfilled our needs for one night.
The extra (IKEA) blanket which we didn't use, needed a wash. I only noticed the next morning while tidying up the bed.

Nice, old, stylishly furnished hotel in the very centre of the city. Excellent for sightseeing.
The parking possibility provided was useful though a bit narrow.
High quality breakfast.
Nice, helpful staff.
On the day of our arrival the approach by car was complicated for tourists unfamiliar with the local traffic. The staff helped us. Next day the traffic was OK

Centrally positioned and beautifully set up.
Very friendly staff and a comfortable bed.
Booking.com advised us that you did not need to book a parking place. Luckily we arrived early and the lovely gentleman sorted it out for us as there was one space left! We appreciated should have contacted the hotel (which we had in other places) to book a place!

Location is excellent, right in the heart of the beautiful lanes. I stayed in an apartment on the ground floor but the alley way access is super quiet
The apartment is about 200m away from the main hotel so as a solo traveller you don’t quite feel like you’re part of the main accommodation. But some people might enjoy that!

The staff was extremely helpful and kind. At first my sister and I were assigned to a room down the street which was dark and awful. Luckily there was still a room available at the hotel. We paid a little more and had that room for two nights.
The room down the street was awful but the room in the hotel was lovely. Breakfast was very agreeable.

The location and parking available. Staff were friendly.
The room was a little disappointing as it didn’t depict the images on their site. We stayed in room 1 it was nice but the bathroom was in need of upgrading. Shower head kept falling off and the grouting needs redoing in the shower. The room was on the ground floor, right on the road and it was very noisy from traffic and the bar across the street.

For our return this year there was sadly nothing to recommend it.
Expensive for an attic room.
No air conditioning.
Shower was dangerously hot on the pipes in such a confined very tiny space.
Toilet seat broken
Sink tap not attached
Bed access on one side impossible to get into.

We had booked an apartment but it was on the ground floor and not suitable for us the hotel quickly changed our room without a fuss and we’re very helpful.
We weren’t keen on the apartment as it was plainly a converted office and quite musty and exposed.I don’t think it had been used regularly

The location of the hotel was great, right on the edge of the old city. The room was comfortable . The breakfast was a buffet which was good. The staff were nice and very helpful. The history of the hotel was interesting.
If you need parking at the hotel book beforehand as the parking on site is limited.
The shower was over the bath and we could have done with a shower mat to put in the bath as it was a little slippy.

Central location, very easy to explore the city.
Sadly no restaurant but understand why. Plenty of options to explore within 5 mins walk so no real problem.

When we had a problem the staff member was very helpful
We booked through booking.com and thought we had booked a room in the hotel, when we arrived the
receptionist told us we were in an apartment up the road. The apartment was dark, miserable and unwelcoming and smelt of cigarette smoke, we did not want to stay there. We were able to stay in the hotel for one night only and had to find another hotel for our remaining night (which the receptionist helped us with). We had no refund from the hotel and had an additional night's stay to pay for.

The room in the main hotel was lovely but the small apartment they had originally put us in had a nasty odour.
I would always ask to stay in the main hotel if you can
Breakfast was limited but ok

We stayed in the 1970's apartment separate from the Hotel though we were able to park in their car park. Very cool place and very private down a cobbled side street. Good quality modern fittings in the bathroom (not 1970s!) - kitchen quite limited in terms of space but we weren't cooking etc as eating out in the Town during our short stay. Breakfast was in the Hotel and was a continental style. A good range of food on offer and staff very helpful in all respects.

The hotel is well-situated in a central location that allows you to walk to areas of interest. The room had amenities such as extra pillows and and instant coffee with biscuits which was a nice touch.
The online booking details stated that the hotel had onsite parking. We filtered only for central and parking in our search since we knew it could be an issue to find parking. The confirmation form explicitly stated and I'm copying from the email here - "Guest parking Private parking is available on site (reservation is not possible) and costs EUR 10 per day." As we approached the hotel we drove through two parking lots and surrounding streets without finding any spots available. At the hotel, we found their small lot and one space which was left and thus gladly parked. Upon entering the hotel reception to check-in, we were told that parking was only for guests who had reserved in advance and we must move our car. I showed the above line that said you canNOT make a reservation for parking and said we had been unable to find another space and were in a rush for dinner at a restaurant. I was then told that they would call the police on me then asked to speak to a manager. The manager asked his receptionist if she had mentioned the police and she told him she had, but that hadn't made me move (as if it is policy to tell a guest they'll call the police?). They blamed booking.com for the inability to change the wording regarding parking on their website, but acted as though it was normal for guests to ignore this text and email them to reserve. The receptionist also seemed to think it was appropriate to show me the emails from other guests who had asked for parking in advance (I'm not sure privacy laws allow for this and those she showed me had reasons for needing to reserve such as "My wife is handicapped..."). If she or her manager had simply admitted it was a fault on the site and apologized, I wouldn't have taken such offense, but they insisted on acting as though a reasonable english-speaking person would read "reservation is not possible" and then email to reserve anyway.
