Wonderful location for Dinan and easy underground parking

The location is good for a wander round Dinan. We have stayed several times as an alternative to a night crossing on Brittany Ferries. A room here is about the same as a nighttime cabin.
Very nice restaurant just next door.
We paid a little extra for a larger room. Not in the best position outlook wise and had a bedsettee made up as a single bed. Why?

Location was very good
On arrival we were shown a kettle in lobby and cold water dispenser. Room was OK. No cups/glasses in room or bathroom. Went to lobby to make a cup of tea, no cups by kettle and tea bags. Kettle has to be filled with a chilled water dispenser and cups requested. We had to ask for glasses for room. Advised to park in underground car park, no parking charges displayed. Only cooked food at breakfast is DIY boiled eggs, breakfast staff totally disinterested in guests. After returning to room on evening used glasses had been removed from bathroom but NOT replaced. Coach party had arrived, so breakfast room very crowded on second morning. Checked out to discover parking charges of 34Euros in underground carpark, reception should at least advise.
