Comfortable room, secure parking, breakfast, brilliant location, helpful staff, nice terrace by river.
Disappointed there was no restaurant; room safe was broken; bag storage area in room had no light; carpets and fittings in corridors were old and worn.

Location and staff
Advertising that the room has air conditioning when it clearly was not available in any hotel bedrooms was utterly misselling. So, we were expected to sleep with the window open and be woken by noises coming from the port, ie. Small motorbikes and cars. Unacceptable to be in this situation. I book hotels purely based on air conditioning being available and this was a huge downside to our visit. The manageress was very nice and said all the right things but still no aircon. A free beer was offered and accepted but I was very disappointed at having to give in and open the window at 2am because the room was so stuffy and hot.
I doubt that we will risk a return visit
