The room was reasonably priced for the area.
The building and fixtures was dated and the bathroom had a musty smell.

Location
Arrived late and struggled to gain access to the property. The number on the door wouldn’t connect and was advised the day after we should have done 0033 not +33, arriving late you automatically go with what is displayed, finally got through on the bookings number.

Convenient to Caen Ferry Port. Very clean room. Good facilities which we didn't use, like a well equipped kitchen and a fridge, which was great if we had needed them. Perfectly adequate bathroom. Large bed, Large windows for breeze, overlooking the car park, which was free. The whole place is really great for what we needed and more. Downstairs there was a little shared area with a fridge and a work area, plus a communal seating area. We noticed a breakfast room also which looked like it would be great. Another time we would like to use this, and check in a little earlier in the evening, and leave later in the morning to take advantage of the full range of services. It looks like an old apartment building converted into a self sufficient temporary accommodation, hence the name I suppose. Would stay again.
Unclear check in procedure. Didn't receive a door code, so had to wait for someone else to enter so we could slip in. BUT, we did book it approximately only 1.5 hours before we arrived, so we do take this into consideration. No-one answered the phone number on the closed reception (it was late so totally understandable). Looking back in emails, I found a different number listed under the accommodation address.. We called this and a person directed us to the lock box to get our key. Some other guests arrived and had a similar problem, so we let them in. Once we got in the room, all was great.

Big carpark. Kitchen. Clean. We needed an affordable place to stay before catching the ferry to UK. Beds comfortable. Facilities good. Lots of towels. Short walk to a restaurant. The fold out bed was good size.
Main bedroom very small to move around especially when the bathroom door was open. Could smell cigarette smoke. Fold our bed had very squeaky springs.

Room had enough space, you get what you book. Nothing fancy, but everything in good shape and it was all fine. Quiet neighborhood, 20 mins with tram to city centre. Very good bakery (Quellier) and supermarkets nearby.
The beds (mattresses) could be more comfy, they are really soft.

We stayed here on our way home from Spain. Well placed in Caen for the Ferry Terminal at Ouistreham. It is well located for a supermarket and there are a few places to eat within a kilometre, though probably not the best Restaurants in Caen. The car Park was very busy when we arrived but we managed to get a space, there seems to be a University Campus next door so maybe that was why it was busy as it emptied later on.First impression was that it was a little basic but once in our room it was actually pretty good. We had a studio which had a small kitchen area but quite well equipped, 2 ring hob, kettle, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, microwave, even a mini dishwasher with a dishwasher tablet provided and some washing up liquid. there was a couple of saucepans and a large frying pan, which was adequate to cook a simple meal. Crockery, glasses, cutlery and kitchen utensils were also provided.
The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and a king size, there was a small table and 2 chairs so sitting to eat a meal was possible.
There was also a TV. The bathroom had a decent shower, shower gel was provided. There was also a hairdryer.
Breakfast was provided in the room rate but we prepared our own in the room, from what we were told the breakfast was quite basic.
There are no reception staff overnight so you are given a code for the main door.
We would use this place again if travelling through this area.

I liked that the hotel was close to the place were I had to work. The bed was comfy and the hotel was quiet and clean.
I didn't liked the breakfast (only a few options). It was very cold in the room. The hotel is far from the city center and only a restaurant is nearby.

Arrived late, nobody was at the reception, neither a message or mail was sent to me with instructions concerning how to get into my room. After several phone calls, and no reply as the call center was not operating after 21:00, i had to move with my 2 kids to find another hotel. Bonus: they charged me twice my credit card. Scams.
