Great little hotel on the edge of Caen

Great staff, comfortable room, ideal place for an overnight stop. Handy for ferry.

did the job . Great location for the ferry

good welcome . very clean room. Secure & free parking. Plenty of exercise space close by for our dog.Not much else around bar a supermarket though there is an exceptional pizza takeaway close by

It was basic but clean and nice that there was a kettle and tea in the room. Not usual for France. The plus point is the secure parking. It is fine for a one night stop for the ferry. Easy access to ferry terminal

The hallway is very open and so noise travels to the rooms. It is fine if other guests are respectful but we were there when a school of teenagers were there. They were very noisy we had to ask them to be quiet. It would have been better if the hotel staff had dealt with this as they must know that the noise travels and the acoustics of the building are not great. The teacher was very good when we asked if they could be quiet but I am not sure everyone would be so understanding

Great staff, so helpful. We were cycling and they locked our bikes inside a room.

Ok but somr small things could make a hugrs improvement.

The room and bathroom were clean and adequate.

Bathroom was small difficult to move around. Only one average size bath towel per person. No hand towel and not of good quality. Bar non existent. Staff did not know what drinks they had. Eventually found some gin but no tonic. Needs a well sticked bar. Restaurant. Starters and desert good. But NOT ACCEPTABLE ti keep thmain courses hot. We went in at 7.30 so eating main meal about 8pm food had been kept hot for over 30 mins. Others came in at 9pm and same tray of hot food given to them. Just not acceptable. Main meat course not good at all. There was a noise in the restaurant like a very noisy dishwasher kept coming on and off. Totally destroyed the atmosphere. Staff did not clear plates away and were not in evidence for 95%of the time. Not impressed. 11

Very disappointed

The one member of staff who was our only contact was very helpful but was not able to provide a good stay - not his fault - constant problems with digital room door key and no restaurant facilities for an evening meal although the hotel particulars indicated that food would be available in the restaurant.

The room was dusty and smelt musty. The bathroom was not in a good condition. The corridor was very echoey.

I would not stay there again due to the room size, too small even for a couple.

The food was reasonable for this kind of accommodation.

The rooms are very small, the wall are very thin and you could hear people running up and down the corridors, opening and closing the doors all night. There is no staff attendance after 11pm so now one to complain to. The hot breakfast was not to any standard for any accommodation.

The location and parking were great as we have a campervan, so didn't have to worry about height restrictions.

The room was quite small, but was adequate for one night. Also the floor could have been vaccumed.
