Being British would have liked a kettle in my room to make a cup of tea,coffee maker does not heat the water to boiling point.Or maybe available on request.

Not impressed with the hotel or the rooms.

The breakfast was the worst we have had since being away for 4 weeks. Not enough food and variety and no English breakfast tea as I don’t drink coffee so I had to go with out. Tables with your empty plates were not cleared from the table so the dishes just piled up till you left the table.

More variety at breakfast and refill the food as it was used up. Tables cleared so you weren’t eating with dirty dishes piled on the table.

Clean, comfortable, well located for a variety of local activities if you are driving.

Clean, friendly hotel with easy access on Caen ring-road for ferry port, Normandy beaches and memorial locations. 20 minutes walk into the centre, or alternatively, two minute walk to light rail into the centre. Close to restaurants and a shopping centre with a large supermarket. Free restricted access parking. All good for what we needed.

Room was small and was a bit tight for a three-night stay, but I would stay here again.

Very nice, welcoming and good breakfast.

Compact but nice, clean, bright and everything there. They let me leave my car on checkout day for a few hours so I could explore the area by tram and bus.

Night sleep was excellent

The hotel was situated in a industrial area, so not a great area. We like to leave the car and walk but nothing to see or do there, there is a tram near though ,can't fault the hotel but it was not for us

Very good hotel

It may seem strange to have rated this top for location when it is located away from the town centre, but just across the road is a tram stop and for just a few euro's you can get to any part of the town and all its facilities very quickly, with no parking charges or having to drive home afterwards. Facilities were very good, as was the breakfast. Also, the free secure parking at the hotel is a bonus.

Nice hotel.

Lovely little hotel, nice staff, room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was usual continental but good quality and choice.

Only one problem really, we expected that we would eat at the hotel in the evening as we were only staying for one night as a stopover, we’d been up very early that morning, had a long journey and didn’t fancy venturing too far but were told the restaurant is closed on a Friday evening, didn’t see mention of that when we booked. There was a restaurant next door we used which was ok, expensive for what we got though but it had to do!

Friendly modern hotel in a convenient location

We liked the quiet location in Caen, modern artistic decor and the free on-site secure parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was cosy with comfortable beds and a large shower. We appreciated the eco friendly focus and homely atmosphere.

Insufficient charging sockets, terrible lighting - made it feel really dingy - bathroom was worst - lighting not good enough to apply make up. General feel of the place is very dark - including the corridors.
