Very quirky, thatched property. Lovely staff, very accommodating, put us in a suite for our special stay. The food was excellent. Such good value for money. Couldn’t have felt more welcome. Definitely stay again
Bed was slightly hard for me but and our suite could have done with a coffee table next to the sofa. Minor things nothing major to stop a stay there

Breakfast was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely bar area staff were very attentive
Shower head needed attention

very friendly, caring and helpful staff. The food was excellent as usual The room we stayed in was clean and tidy. we love the pub, it has lots of character with a lovely beer garden. The pub has a Large well lit car park at the back of the pub. We will always go back to the pub.
I have to point out two small issues though. I had a sticky toffee pudding for dessert and found a couple of date stones in the pudding. I did mention this to the staff and I was told that the chef only uses pitted dates, I’m not quite sure what went wrong! Also one of the spoons that was laid out on the table for breakfast was pretty grubby, once I mentioned it to the staff it was changed with a clean one and they apologized.
