It was very noisy. My room was on the first floor facing the staircase and the noise made by the groups of people in the bar and seating areas on the ground floor was very intrusive, particularly as it went on until late at night.

Great place for overnight stopover

Great place to stop near Chartres and easy drive to Calais for returning to UK. Clean, comfortable rooms, nice restaurant and friendly staff. Shops and restaurants walking distance. Free parking. Dogs welcome (small fee).

Recently refurbished. Very pleasant room. Nicely decorated. Comfortable bed. Hôtel arranged for goats yoghurt and soya milk for breakfast, as requested. Very helpful.

A nice hotel in a good location.

Good location. Easy to find . Perfect stopover enroute to the Dordogne. The beds were very comfortable. Rooms nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Lovely breakfast included in the price. We would definitely stay here again . Staff were very friendly and accommodating .

No water or drink facilities in the rooms so we had to ask at the bar for water. Missed my wake me up morning coffee in the room .

Awful.

Not a lot.

We have stayed at this hotel several times before, and it has been consistently good. However, they are now rebuilding the restaurant, so there was no food; the breakfast on offer was simply a package, which we turned down. The room heating did not work. The room was so small there wasn't even room for a chair or wardrobe. I had made another booking for next month, but I shall cancel it. We shall go elsewhere in future.

It was just what we needed.

We have stayed here several times as it is so close to the ring road and thus convenient as a stopping place en route to the channel crossing. We have always found the staff helpful and the facilities and restaurant good. We always enjoy our evening meal and set off, either north or south, the next morning well refreshed.

We travel frequently to the South of France and Chartres is a good place to stop over. This was our nineteenth stay at the hotel and it is perfect for us. It is clean and comfortable, and the staff are always helpful.

The hotel is situated in the perfect location for our 1 night stay, with restaurants and bars to hand along with a very large and well stocked supermarket. We find it quiet, clean, at the right price and with pleasant staff. All in all it suits our needs perfectly.
