Enjoyed our night

Comfortable and clean. Lovely bed, nice bathroom and quite spacious.

Location was a little way from the centre of town and our room backed on to the street so there was some traffic noise but not too much.

There was no chair to sit on in the pool area while watching my grandchildren in the pool. The shower had a bad smell as part of the gully trap was missing in the plumbing.

A good spot close to everything and super friendly and comfortable.

We were upgraded to a lovely room on ground floor which was really appreciated after a few days in the saddle. The Spa pool was also a treat to relax the muscles.

Bit of a trip hazard got both of us with the door stop in the unusual layout of the bathroom

Wasn’t worth what we paid

Nice and clean and the spa bath was nice in the room. Hosts were lovely

That the gym wasn’t on site, this should be stated when booking. The gym was good though. Sauna wasn’t hot at all, we were looking forward to this and the beds were soft but uncomfortable, my single bed was quite wobbly. Both the doors in our room didn’t lock which was a big security concern for us, luckily we only stayed for one night

Lovely corner spa bath in Studio Room & comfortable place

Receptionist was helpful and friendly when I booked in the afternoon and arrived later that night. Corner spa bath in Studio Room kept its heat well and was lovely, so was the shower. Amenities were very good. View of road and Rugby Park across the road so this place must be for people attending rugby matches.

Great location and very comfortable units

Very clean unit with excellent facilities in the unit which were all clean. This is an excellent location for Chiefs fans and we will be back to stay when they are playing!! The pool and spa were fantastic. Great to supply shampoo etc but maybe some bubbles for the spa could be an idea as well.

It was said breakfast could be purchased however we were not offered this and could not see anything at reception where it was stated we could find information about breakfast. This was one of the main reasons we chose this place so we didn't have to worry about breakfast. We couldn't access the sauna and no information was provided on how to access this or if it was out of order.

We had a very enjoyable stay :)

The room was very pleasant and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed using the pool and spa.

The only suggestion I have to make would be to remove the cigarette butts receptacles from beside the pool and the landing above as cigarette smoke from smokers affects the relaxing experience of the pool area.

Great Spa and Bed Right next to Waikato Stadium

We loved that this place had a spa, sauna and swimming pool. The spa was lovely and hot, the sauna was beautiful and the pool was good. The pool was a little warm for a hot day but great for winter. The bed was one of the best my wife and I have slept on. Great pillows too which is always a must for our travels. We didn't use the spa bath in the room but great size and excellent pressure in the shower too. Staff were great and accommodating. It would be helpful for traveller's if the Motel listed that a Visa or Mastercard are NEEEDED to stay here on the booking information.
