nearly perfect to be honest

accomodated for anniversary room decoration, literally flawless stay, facilities were nice value for money was great. room was clean and very nice view, pool was also lovely, no noise complaints whole stay was great.

wouldve liked to have been able to connect to the tv using my phone to play music rather than having bad channels, same goes for the tv in the bathroom, not a particularly good mirror for the mrs doing makeup though

A fantastic stay at this hotel with beautiful facilities, food and fatastic views across Manchester.

A beautiful hotel, perfectly positioned for the Deansgate entertainment and restaurant and bars. The breakfast was amazing and had everything anyone could imagine, including alternative milks. The restaurant at level 23 was fabulous.

Even though the level 23 restaurant was fabulous, unfortunately, when we went up about 11:45pm, they had stopped serving coffee and liquor coffees so we were a bit disappointed.

Really nice view of the City. The corridors smelt amazing. There were plenty of plug sockets in the room. We were really happy with the ability to plug in your own HDMI to the TV so we could use our games console.

Bathroom could have been cleaner. Carpets were rally tired, the condensation from the windows was leaking onto our carpet.

Wouldn’t stay again

The location. The restaurant.

The room. Had an awful smell. Like a damp carpet smell. Made a complaint to reception. Cleaner came to spray the floor which only masked the smell for 5 minutes then came back. At this time I’d got dressed ready for bed otherwise I would have complained again. The phone wasn’t working so couldn’t call reception. Expected a lot better considering I spent £300.

Quite a few things were broken on arrival which I didn't expect from such an expensive hotel, heater was not working, sink got blocked after minimal use and telephone to contact the helpdesk had been disconnected.

Stayed in room 518, There was a loud noise coming from the floor above (sounded like drilling) which I reported twice to hotel staff who said they’d investigate but nothing was done about it. Barely got any sleep as noise was present all through the night

Twin beds requested when booked but not available

Check in unbearably slow I requested Twin beds on booking but they said there was no availability when checked in. When I asked if they could make up twin beds - they said it was not possible. I wouldn’t have booked the room if the twin beds weren’t possible. Very misleading

The price was too high. The price of breakfast was too high! There was a constant buzzing sound Speeding up & then slowing down throughout the whole night…. Probably the service building outside the window( 4th floor)

Not bad, but quite pricey for what it is.

Friendly service on check-in and checkout.

Rooms are a bit dated - stains on carpets, scuffed cabinets/furniture etc. Weirdly the curtain netting didn't fully shut, though the main curtains did. Service on checkin was friendly but quite slow as my room wasn't ready (it was roughly 15:30) so they had to shuffle things around which took a few. Breakfast was ok - exactly what you'd expect from a standard hotel buffet, but nothing too special. Unfortunately the thing that killed it for me was the bed - it was hard, with bouncy creaky springs that you can feel. Some may like this but I didn't sleep well at all. Weirdly the TV randomly seemed to make everything very green, until I changed channels back and forward again. There are a few other hotels in Manchester at a similar price point with nicer rooms, beds, and breakfast - so I'd recommend looking around at options. It's not a bad stay though, barring (in my opinion) the bed.
