Comfortable welcoming stay

Quiet and no barking dogs. I travel with my dog who is very clean and does not bark and enjoys to travel. We both slept very well. And would return again

Prefect for the shopping outlets

Great rooms, clean and modern. Lots of parking and 2mins drive to the outlets.

I dont think there was a lift to the first floor (unconfirmed) but there are rooms on the ground floor too

Lovely weekend stay.

Location is great, just straight off the motorway and close enough to travel to Mansfield and other neighbouring places. Breakfast has an excellent service and choice. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Beds are very comfortable 😊

Only thing that spoilt our stay was the fire alarm going off at 3.24am, and having to evacuated the building. The two members of staff were trying their best but didn't give any clear information.

Great facilities but bedroom lacking extras.

The room was clean, the hotel facilities were great and the restaurant food was a good standard. Overnight pitstop so all good.

The pillows were a bit lumpy and no extra pillows or blanket available in the room. The heating was by fan so a bit noisy. No lift to first floor. The restaurant lighting was too bright, needs a dimmer for evening. Half used bottle of water in the mini fridge. The fire alarm went off after bedtime.

Overall very good.

I have stayed at the hotel 3-4 times now and each time have been happy with the hotel. For myself the location is fantastic and it has good access to local transport facilities.

It was a little noisy eatrly mid evening, but oveall I don't really have any complaints, On the odd occaision when there is a function at the hotel it is difficult to get service and the entrance lounge area seem very hectic.

Excellent basic services at a good price but check around elsewhere for a relaxed dinner

Room was exceptional. Minor problem in bathroom Assistance by front of house staff first rate

Evening meal went badly. Staff seemed to congregate and cluster around cash desk at the expense of diners and it impacted on service. Courses ended and we waited in vain for revisit to remove dirty dishes and take order for next course. I wanted another glass of wine but despite waving big white napkin towards the previously mentioned cash desk, nobody came. I got frustrated and went directly to the bar myself. The barman blanked me and served another customer who had arrived after me in preference. I left the bar in disgust but met a waiter who without grace took my order. A desert order for my wife arrived but not matching the menu description . She sent it back. Subsequently the Till staff tried to charge for the item and only removed it from the bill with bad grace. Not a very comfortable dining experience. All staff appeared to be young yet badly trained to deal with problem customers like me (This did not apply to one young male waiter who seemed to be doing 5 times the work of the rest of the staff-however he made his haste to get food in front of diners a little too evident which disturbed which should have been a relaxed and comforting affair.)

Handy location and good breakfast

Breakfast was very good and bed comfy.

Constant loud noise from the pipes going along the ceiling all through the night. The curtain didn’t fit in the window, so there was a large gap all around the window.

Excellent hotel weekend break.

Well presented breakfast buffet style. Food was of good quality and plenty of options. All the staff were friendly and helpful from the arrival at reception to the service at mealtimes. Excellent house keeping service aswell. Room was very clean and smelt lovely and fresh. Location was perfect for our stay, straight off the motorway and able to relax. Great weekend break.

Easy and quick check in.

The room (183) was noisy from possibly ventilation or heating system operating all through the night. The curtains to my ground floor room gaped at both sides - disturbing as solo female guest! Had to use my case and chair from room to pull curtains to side to reduce gaping. Difficult to sleep. Also deliberately booked double room but was given room with 2 single beds (and single quilts) shoved together.

Great for a short stay

Convenient location with abundant parking. Friendly & efficient staff (changed the broken kettle almost immediately). Smart & very clean throughout (beautiful wallpaper in the loos near the bar)! Did not have breakfast but did have evening meals which were very enjoyable.

The only problem was the noisy plumbing which actually woke me up twice. Think it was from the flushed loo in the room above us & the tank taking ages to refill. Had to resort to my trusty earplugs to block out noise.

Convenient for work, very friendly staff, horrible beds.

The staff are above and beyond, cannot fault them at all. The room was clean and the food is always good. I am disabled and they always go out of their way to help fulfill my needs with a room with a fridge etc, close to reception.

The bed this time was so unbelievably uncomfortable. My partner and I left with sore backs and I do wish the table in the bedroom had a mirror. Apart from that it was a nice stay for work.

As a wheelchair user excellent amount of space in the bedroom and in the hotel to move around easily.

Unfortunately no handrails in the bathroom so unable to have a shower
