Beautiful place - great lido - shame spa facilities not working but the massages were perfect - afternoon tea was good

Friendly & very helpful staff. Clean spacious hotel with pleasant eating areas. Good choice of food breakfast & evening meal. Lovely large fish pond. Garden / grounds well maintained.
Dinner menu does not really cater for younger children ie food choice and portion size . ( 7 yr old would have liked smaller dinner , meat & vegetables or choice of pasta meal. She did enjoy the burger meal & pudding.

Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely historical building in a great location - five minute walk from Matlock Bath and also close to Cromford village. Clean, spacious room. Very good breakfast.

Liked the location and the grounds. The main hotel was lovely. Balcony view was lovely. Room was clean (apart from carpet)
The room was dated, carpet old and stained . Balcony lovely but furniture was old had holes in it and frayed thought I would fall through it and couldn’t make use of it anyway due to all the wasps
