Great location and friendly staff. Comfortable room with historic character
It was a stormy night and the pub sign swinging disturbed us a bit, but understand that not much can be done about this. The pub itself did not disturb us.

Lovely welcome in traditional pub. Comfy room, clean & parking.
We liked everything but customers should remember you are staying in a PUB on a main road. The noise didn't bother us & they do provide ear plugs for light sleepers. There are quite steep stairs to the rooms.

Very comfortable room, comfortable bed, nice snacks and drinks in the room
Location on the road and old building makes it noisy to sleep, but they do what they can with earplugs!

The room was lovely, and although there was not a lot of parking, I never had a problem getting in or out.
Some good local dog walks.
Although dogs are welcome, I would think that the stairs are too steep for large or elderly dogs. My dog then had to remain in my vehicle, and it was just fortunate that it was not as hot as in previous weeks.
Wifi code had to be asked for, but I'm not sure why this is not in the rooms.
