Room is spacious with nice balcony; amenities are ultra basic (powdered coffee); location on beach is rare
Isolated location far from main activities in Cape Town; there are no stores or restaurants nearby other than one restaurant attached to hotel

Cold reception from entrance to check in

The property is excellent in terms of location and breakfast, and many staff members are genuinely hospitable—especially Princess and her colleagues at the breakfast restaurant, as well as Liam at the front desk.
Even though several staff members—like Liam—were genuinely hospitable and professional, the same unfortunately cannot be said for all, particularly Lindoni at the front desk (reception).
Lindoni never smiles, and her manner toward guests is noticeably passive-aggressive—at times bordering on condescending. As a result, when I need assistance at reception, I deliberately avoid engaging with her and instead approach any of the other reception staff, who are consistently polite and welcoming.

The location
The gym is advertised at the hotel but for an extra charge which I find unusual,
Not enough loungers around the pool area it’s not like on photos

Nice location
Room and patio furniture were dated and did not shell fresh. Carpet was not clean and welcome snacks was not fresh.

Cleanliness, staff is nice
The food was okay the fitness pool and the area maybe needs some attention. Service by the main pool it’s poor

The customer service provided by the staff was exemplary, as they were readily available to assist. The Tuck Away room service menu offered an outstanding selection of culinary options. La Mizu Restaurant and Bar, with its extended hours until 2 AM, provided valuable dining flexibility for late-night requirements. The location is truly exceptional; the beachfront dining experiences were superb, and we even had the opportunity to observe the New Year's Eve fireworks display from the Waterfront harbor.
We recommend that the housekeeping department enhance its attention to detail. Initially, the cleanliness of our room was suboptimal; however, this improved significantly over the course of our stay, particularly after the manager personally addressed our needs.

Beautiful setting!
Window in the room had dirty kids hand prints, carpets had stains, some mould in the shower, overall a deep clean needs to be done.

The hotel was right on the beach and lagoon
Rooms had no aircons, it was stifling hot while we were there. I feel the price was extremely high (almost R6,000 per night) which did not include breakfast. The room was “cleaned” daily but the dishes and floors were always still dirty. The hotel is not within walking distance of anything. No shops or restaurants besides the hotel restaurant

Being on the beach, good restaurant, and comfortable rooms. Had shuttle to waterfront. Views from pool/restaurant were amazing
Shuttle was hard to get for return trip to hotel. Always full, so had to take a taxi.

front desk staff are inattentive, incompetent and rude major problem reported my many guests.

All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. I recommend getting breakfast included. Sonya our waitress was so pleasant and went out of her way to take care of us. And the view from our balcony where we could see Table mountain and the ocean was beautiful.
The room (339) was dated and need of considerable upgrades. The air conditioning didn’t work. The curtains were old and didn’t slid easy. The refrigerator cabinet retained heat. No plug outlets in the dated bathroom. Television only had local stations (not even Netflix). On the bright side there are so many activities to do in Cape Town that you really only need to sleep and shower in the room.

Beautiful place, perfect location, comfortable and safe.
Noise, it was loud most times, events in the building disrupted my sleep. I could also hear my neighbours in the other rooms.

Swimming pool and Gym were under renovations, they only informed me when I checked in, they promised me a shuttle ride but nothing like that happened,

The location and the beach were beautiful, rooms are clean and had an amazing sea view from the Balcony. The food at the main restaurant was delicious with plenty of options. Special mention to Zodwa the lady manning the room service for being cheerful and always ready to help. Highly recommended for a relaxing gate away!
Repeatedly found the staff to be unengaged, inflexible and unwilling to help particularly the reception and travel desks. The overall feeling was one of apathy, where the staff seemed to lack training and a focus of customer service. While the hotel's physical location is lovely, the management needs to prioritize staff training and address ongoing maintenance issues to improve guest experience. Until then, guests should be aware that the service level may not meet expectations.

The view.
When you check in you leave R1000 that they say will be refunded when you check out. On checking out I was told that the refund will be sent to my bank account within 7 working days. I phoned the hotel on the 21st of October I was told the money is with accounts and will reflect on the 24th. Until today the 28th I haven’t received the refund which was supposed to take 7 working days. I sent an email to someone I was told to complain to and I wonder if that’ll be attended to.

The apartments were very clean and very kid-friendly. The bedrooms were very spacious and we liked the open plan living room with a sea view.
They must consider at least one kitchen swap and a cleaning mop for minor spills that usually happen in the kitchen. Yes, they have excellent room services, but wiping kitchen tops does not need room service.

Our booking wes at the apartment , arrived at room and the porter informed us there was no electricity due to Eskom loadshedding. But there is a gas stove for baby bottles/food and coffee. We can charge our devices at front desk and they will bring lights if it persists after dark.the gas stove did not work.
Maintenance came.Could not fix.
Called again they sent another guy. Also no help.
At 5 no electricity,I also asked for boiling water that did not arrive. No small lights as well.
They did move us to the Hotel side with generator.
Same size room.very beautiful, but not on beach
My dad did not have one bathplug in room and not one of the bathrooms had warm water.
Not even the next morning after Eskom was back on.

The rooms are clean ans beautiful. The bed comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful
I wish the hotel can improve on food. We had chicken fillets and pasta in every meal. The same ingredients were used in every salad. The chef economizes too much and doesn't cater for people who don't eat certain foods. However, I enjoyed the dessert
