It was quiet and so close to beach. My room was basic but a good size, comfortable bed with a lovely balcony with a partial sea view.

There was no info in the room. No option to at least heat food Lamps too dim for.Night time reading

Unfortunately, you hear the clang of pipes when someone showers. Little bit of maintenance to be done on the plumbing, but other than that, it was lovely.

location close to sea safe area of the city bed was comfortable

needs renovation, all furniture and shower are run down and almost broken amenities are scarce and cheap the place feels abandoned you can hear any noise in the hallway or outside, i slept with earplugs it is too pricey for what you get, but i understand it is for the location, in a good area of Cape Town

The location was perfect. Close to the beach. View from balcony was stunning.

There were huge rats running around in the garden outside my room, so I couldn't leave the premises at night because of the rats in the street as well and I couldn't leave the windows open. Management did not respond to my messages or emails until I called them the next day. I checked in and there was no management or staff on sight for the rest of the night. Bed sheets my my skin itch and the bathroom pipes make this loud noise at night. It's so quiet and very at night u can actually hear the guy in the other room breathe. I will definitely not book here again..

A luxurious breath of fresh ocean air

This place is amazing. Spaceous, bright and sunny, right on the ocean. Had my own beautiful balcony leading down to a pool when I didn't feel like going to the beach. A true holiday feel. And the staff are full of smiles. The cold unfriendly place I was at before ruined my holiday, I left early and found this godsave. Craigrownie absolutely saved my holiday. Wonderful. Thankyou

Pleasantly surprised with a very spacious room, and a well maintained swimming pool

Location was great. Literally within a few meters from the beach, with easy access to the walkway to popular swimming beaches

There is a light from the parking area partially shining through the stained glass in the backdoor to the room. There are no blinds or curtains to block out the light at night, which makes it a bit challenging falling asleep if one's used to a less lit room at night.

There are big cochroaches in the rooms and which are scary..I had to kill one before I can sleep peacefully. Pesticide needs to be used more often especially because it’s summer

Location

I didn’t get the room that I booked, and there was no kettle in the room. When I told them about it afterwards, they offered me a complimentary night when next in town. When I took them up on the offer two months later, they had all kinds of excuses and never came back to me.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this guest house. The room was beautifully maintained, comfortable, and impeccably clean, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive to detail. The atmosphere and convenient location made it the perfect home away from home. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

The only minor hiccup was that the door locks were a bit stubborn and required extra effort to open.

I landed from Amsterdam 10pm an i was at the hotel at 11pm I couldn’t get in for 40 minutes course they said they wl leave the key at a post box but they didn’t and they took time unsuer my calls , I was scard standing outside alone wth my bags , eventually they responded they’d said they wl call another guest to open for me and that took time I enter course they were other guest coming in from the party , to cut the story short , they called and ask me to go knock on another guest to ask if they had my room key , I was tired flaying from Atlanta 13 hrs flight to Amsterdam the. Change flight from Amsterdam to capetown 11 hrs flight I just needed to get in my room shower an sleep , the room I was cold light duvet I didn’t sleep shower is dropping water it’s not working properly, checked in I went to another hotel an wl there for a month they lost a good money from me

The Wi-Fi was a bit slow at times, and the noise from the street could be heard in the room at night. Stronger Wi-Fi and better soundproofing in the rooms would enhance the experience.
