The entire team at the guest house were superb! We enjoyed a wonderfull meal one evening, chef served us two really nice dishes, the cooked breakfasts were also very good and overall very well priced.
Our room was the deluxe sea view room and it was very nice, only two points I have, it was unusally hot for the time of year and there is no A/C. We left the sliding door open to catch a breeze but were bitten by mosquito's.
We had a fan in the room which really helped, opening the Sliding door and the main room door created a lovely cross breeze which did cool the room down.
The fridge in the room is very small and made quite a bit of noise.
I cant wait to visit the guest house again in the near future. Its a great little gem hidden out of the way.
Ideally Air Con, and maybe something in the room to help with Mosquito's, we purchased some room spray and body spray from the local supermarket this really helped.
a larger fridge would be great, we purchased mineral water bottles for daily use but these were two big to fit in the fridge so then purchased smaller bottles and decanted from the bigger to the smaller.

An amazing place with amazing staff. We’ve been on a six week road trip to SA and this was the best place that we stayed.Fantastic facilities and staggering views. Staff were helpful and considerate. We would recommend it to anyone.

Unrivalled view, nicely furnished, good location
Beds were very hard with waterproof sheets fitted. With no air con, i can see why... you literally stick to the sheets.
Others comments about leaking showers still not rectified, water all over bathroom floor as shower door doesnt close. Black mould and cracked tiles in shower. Despite Cape Town's water issues, it takes 5+ mins for any warm water to reach the shower.
No TV in room, no hair dryer in room however one was supplied when asked, albeit a travel sized hair dryer. No air con - at this price point it should be included.
This place is crying out for maintenance and investment. If the view is all you care about its a 10 out of 10, the problem is it doesnt do the basics else particularly well. Breakfast was disappointing, had some toast but had to ask for jam/marmalade. Coffee was dreadful.
There's something odd about this place, staff are distant, things like they keep drinks under lock and key, budget hairdryers kept behind closed doors, cracked window, loose floor tiles, stains on the bed linen.... it all just seems more budget than luxurious and i guess while people continue to book, nothing will change.
You're paying a massive premium for the view, which is an amazing view, but it doesnt justify the price.
