Beautiful award winning gem. Very peaceful and refreshing!

This hotel is soooo charming, and is so underrated. The photos do not give it justice. It has won architectural awards for the design, and it is beyond beautiful. The details, the spacious room, the communal areas, everything was spectacular. The whole team were great, and very helpful especialliay Suzie, who took time to explain everything in the hotel, the area and beyond! Such a lovely lady. The rooms were very big, very charming, and the views are beautiful. The pool area, and parking on site are also wonderful. Will surely recommend to others, and stay there again. The bathroom was also beautiful, spacious, and with a big window with an amazing view. They also offered me early check in. They were just so nice! I wish I stayed for longer.

Breakfast ordering is a bit complicated, and you have to fill out a paper, which cheapens the feel a bit. The room did not have air-conditioning.

Haven in Hout Bay

We had a great two bedroom unit that was beautifully fitted out. Spacious, new and lovely.

Nothing to dislike. Sound does travel through the walls/doors but that’s the only criticism.

A clean stay and good location for visiting Hout Bay but rude staff

Nice location if you are visiting Hout Bay.

It was extremely difficult to communicate with the venue. We forgot a medicine at the hotel and called to no avail when we realised, the staff simply threw it - we had to fish it out of their main bins and they even asked if we really needed it. The staff displayed a rude attitude throughout which would make me not stay here again.

Beautiful Boutique hotel overlooking Hout Bay

Relative new property with interesting architecture- interior design very tasteful with a feeling of peace and tranquillity - lot of attention to detail and eco friendly. Garden is well designed and pool heated. Staff very friendly and helpful especially the lady who looked after us during breakfast. Very quiet neighbourhood with excellent security. From our room ( Ginger) great view of the harbour.

Sound isolation of rooms poor- Could literally follow everything that was going on in both neighbouring rooms. No airco in rooms and although we didn't need it, I can imagine that in the heat of summer the rooms are going to be very hot.

Our experience was exceptional! The property is absolutely stunning—immaculate, warm, and beautifully designed. The fireplaces in both the main lounge and bedroom created a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for winter. The staff were phenomenal: friendly, responsive, and they truly made us feel cared for. Special thanks to Charné for going the extra mile to make my wife’s birthday celebration unforgettable. The breakfast was delicious, the towels felt luxurious, and every need was met with grace and warmth. This is truly five-star service! We highly recommend this retreat for anyone seeking beauty, luxury and tranquility.

The villa was spacious, new and clean. The beds were really comfy

It was like the hotel was run on ‘low season mode’: no WiFi, no tv, no coffee machine, staff were slow (we finished our breakfast before we got tea). During check out we weren’t asked about our stay. The villa had no view whatsoever, something you would expect for this price and remote location.

What an amazing place! Beautiful villa, very friendly staff, gorgeous garden and delicious breakfast.

The pool was freezing. Even after asking if they could turn the heating on, I don’t think they did as it was still freezing. Such a shame as it was one of the reasons we chose the property.

It‘s a completely new facility with a beautiful architecture and location - a place you instantly feel comfortable and calm. The area allows you to explore different places in and around Capetown by car with the advantage of being able to completely relax and unwind. Big water tanks in the back of the garden and solar panels ensure a smooth stay - even during load shedding or pipe works. The rooms are light, spacious and equipped with valuable details. The staff is unbelievably kind and service-oriented. Especially Marko from the reception and Suzi from the Spa made our stay definitely one to remember. All of their efforts to ensure our happiness combined with their warm-hearted personalities really stood out for us. We would come back anytime! 10/10

Lovely and comfortable stay

Beautiful, clean and aesthetically pleasing. Loved my stay here.

After check out I received a message from the manager asking me to pay for a linen spray which he assumed I took from the room. This put me off completely. I had a to send a video that I took as I checked into the room creating “content” to prove that I did not take the spray. While this gave me the peace of mind I needed, I was really disappointed at the accusation type tone he had. But besides this event, I really had a great stay.

Het is heerlijk om hier te verblijven. Het is rustig, je hebt een mooi uitzicht. De kamers zijn fijn. Het ontbijt maakt dat je lang blijft zitten. Het zwembad is niet al te groot,maar heerlijk om af te koelen.

Mooie, ruime kamer. Goed bed en grote badkamer. Heerlijk ontbijt. Fijn zwembad. Relaxte plek om even af te schakelen/bij te komen! Vriendelijk personeel!

Locatie is echt achteraf, je hebt een auto nodig om naar diverse locaties toe te gaan, Uber is ook een optie! De waterdruk van de douche was bij ons de eerste dag wat minder - de tweede dag was dit opgelost.
