The place exceeded our expectations. We felt completely welcome, without being overwhelmed by attention. It really is a wonderful place and close enough to visit other areas of Cape Town but far away from the crowds. Perfect!

My stay at the Guinea Fowl House was wonderful - very quiet, peaceful, incredible views from the balcony just outside my room. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable. The heated blankets on the bed made it very cozy and were a wonderful touch! Michele was a fantastic host and gave great recommendations for places to eat and things to do around the area.

Relaxing, quiet and beautiful.

Good breakfast, with plenty of fresh fruit. You can chat with other guests, which is a plus when you're travelling on your own. The google map does not do justice to the location, you are literally 2 minutes away from the beach, and less than 10 minutes away from the town centre. Brilliant hostess!

NEVER AGAIN NO GARDEN FOR US.

We didn't get a chance to 'like" anything. This was to be a dream week end away

Inspite of confirming telephonically that our booking was in order THE NIGHT BEFORE OUR ARRIVAL. When we got there we were just told we were double booked and accommodation had been arranged at another venue NOWHERE NEAR where we wanted to stay. I shall never get over it. R1800 down the drain.

Such a beautiful B&B in a truly amazing location! It's been a month already and I'm still sad we could not stay longer to enjoy the beautiful beach and those amazing sunsets. The room was clean and bright with a perfect balcony to enjoy dinner or a glass of wine, Michele was absolutely lovely and has created a wonderful peaceful place that we'll always remember.

The place located 100 meters from the beautiful beach. the garden is so green and beautiful. Room is very aesthetic and stylish, there is great view from every window, sunset colors were amazing. The most important is Michelle, she is so nice person with big smile we asked for a late checkout (4 hours more) and she accepted , that really helped us. Will definitely come back again.

A home from home with a fantastic hospitality!

I had a fantastic three nights stay at Guinea Fowl House! The place is an immaculately clean and well-maintained white house just a few hundred meters from a fantastic clean beach! Michele makes awesome breakfasts and is always there to help you. I felt that Guinea Fowl House was simply "A home from home"! My sincere recommendation to anyone who needs some relaxing and tranquil time - and loves walks on an amazingly beautiful beach!

A lovely house, nested just behind the public beach and the access is very easy on a wood path. Michelle is wonderful, take care of her host, listen they needs and do everything to make the stay memorable. Full breakfast is served with fresh and delicious products. Very quiet place to have a deep sleep and beautiful large patio to enjoy the beauty of the area, people walking in the morning, enjoying a cup of tea/coffee.
