Socrates Room (Sunset Villa Socrates with Infinity Pool) is undoubtedly amazing with caldera views, private pool encompassing the mesmerizing Mediterranean Sea and the iconic Oia landscape. Breakfast is delicious and high-quality and of course with caldera view. However, there is no Asian menu. You can enjoy the view while having breakfast started from 8am. Staffs service are excellent. From warm welcomes upon arrival to personalized concierge services and going above and beyond to resolve any issues, the staff consistently creates an exceptional and memorable stay.

The accommodation was amazing and was kept immaculately clean, and is situated in a great location in beautiful Oia. I cannot praise the staff highly enough, all of the staff were exceptionally friendly and polite, and really did everything possible to ensure a very enjoyable stay

We LOVED our stay!!! The location was superb!!! Our room had the most excellent views of caldera! I would definitely plan another stay! The staff was extremely helpful and attentive, we never had any issues and they were great about booking excursions, finding anything we wanted to do and making sure it was smooth and perfect! everything was done to meet our needs and they definitely exceeded our expectations and let me tell you, we travel luxury and have pretty high expectations, this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had since COVID!!! Thank you 😊

I don’t recommend this hotel

The reception staff were very friendly. The room was nice and we were at the highest point in Santorini so there was no one looking down on our balcony.

Everyday there was something imperfect about our perfect trip. The coffee machine didn’t work. The lid flew off when we tried to use it. We told reception who said the nespresso machine was designed like that. It wasn’t. We got this room because of the hot tub on the balcony. On the third day the tub temperature was set to so hot you couldn’t even put your hand in it, so we weren’t able to use it. The breakfast was nice but the prosciutto on the second day was off. It was grey and smelt very bad. There was no WiFi access on the balcony so when you wanted to relax there you couldn’t use your phone. We came in from dinner one night to find our room hadn’t been cleaned. The bed was unmade, used beach towels on the balcony and dirty coffee cups. We decided to go to bed. The maid came to clean our room at 11pm. When I asked why she hadn’t come earlier, she said she was busy with so many rooms. The hotel only has 33 rooms and at that price you would think they would make an effort to clean them all before 11pm. There were many other imperfect features of our room on what was supposed to be a perfect holiday that would mean I would not recommend spending your money with this chain of hotels. The manager seemed apologetic and said she would email to apologise but it’s been nearly a week and we haven’t heard anything.

A true gem. The best part of our Greece vacation

The property is wonderful in every respect. By far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in terms of customer service. The staff is unbelievable and accommodated every request. Located on the caldera rim with sweeping views of the Aegean sea. The room was spacious and well appointed with a private entrance, living room, king-sized bed (with choice of pillows), and a walk-in rain shower. The hotel even offered three choices of high end soap and shampoo amenities. The private terrace and Jacuzzi was a perfect setting to enjoy our breakfast each morning and for relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening. It was the definition of an ideal boutique hotel.

No complaints. The only "problem" was the stairs to the room are steep and coming back up from the room highlighted my need to work out more.
