Chambres meublées Prilly - Lausanne

Friendly owner und very nice welcome; geografic location is very good; for the parking of my car, I got offered a private parking place for a little extra fee. The room booked had a partially nice view towards lake, while the main view was/is towards the house next door. All this part is very fine, no problem at all.

The room equipment is puzzled from different styles and seemed to be of very basic/minimal quality. Noteworthy: all was clean ! The room booked was on a floor, where one toilet and shower had to be shared among four rooms. Water amount for the shower was limited, too. The quality of the bed was bad (sorry to say so), it was a movable furniture, which was extremely soft and creacky. So I slept on the couch, which was harder and was fine for my feeling. Overall these rooms offered seem to be better suitable for young people (remembering student times), maybe backpacker. It is not well suited for business travel. Sorry, this point was not clear to me by the official descriptions while doing the booking.

Well, I spent at the location beautiful 15 nights. I came to Lausanne to work on a little project with the University. For the last 5 days my wife joint me. We liked the stay not only because we love Lausanne, actually I lived in Lausanne 4 years, but because it was a pleasant experience to stay in the location. When booking I went for the option for the room without room service, so I can't tell much about the staff, but I can say that the shared bathroom and the whole property was always clean ( yes, there was also toilet paper ;-) ). The other guests in the house were well-mannered, there has never been noise or any disturbance, We didn't know there were other guests unless we met them :-) The room was spacious, actually it was much larger than my studio where I stayed when I lived in Lausanne. There was a little fridge in the room, very useful during the hot days there in August, to keep a couple of beers and have there a sandwich or a pizza from the city. The view towards Evian from the balcony was amaaaazing! Very convenient for an evening apero. Well, the wi-fi in the house was easy to connect to and worked perfectly all the time, I could watch youtube or movies anytime, but the upstream rate is slower, so not suitable to upload tons of hi-res photos. Last but not the least, the landlord Fabien Deillon and his wife are very nice. Well, when I arrived the first day it rained, so I ruined Fabien's towel he offered me. Upon leaving, he made me and my wife a coffee. I can definitely recommend Chambres meublées Prilly - Lausanne for staying and we will be happy to stay there again.

well, this is subjective, there are some strict house rules, like no smoking in the whole property upon leaving if you do so, but I think if you smoke like a man, and your neighbor does too, you can have your 5 minutes on the balcony (but this is completely deliberate opinion violating the written house rules)

Ruime kamer met prima bedden.

Bovenste verdieping zonder airconditioning was heel warm. Er was sprake van een gedeelde badkamer en in de kamer naast ons verbleven 4 personen. Als dan 6 personen gebruik maken van 1 badkamer /toilet moet je wel af en toe een poosje wachten. Dat is soms vervelend. Bij het bad zaten soms een paar mieren. Badkamer werd wel elke dag netjes schoon gemaakt.

Die Lage ist mitten in einem Wohngebiet, daher sehr ruhig.

Es steht mit keinem Wort in der Beschreibung, dass es kein WC und Bad gibt!! Man muss sich mit 3 weiteren Zimmern Badezimmer/Toilette teilen. Das Zimmer ist in 5 Tagen nicht einmal gereinigt worden. Beim Öffnen des Fensters am ersten Tag sind mir 30 tote Spinnen/Fliegen/Insekten entgegengeflogen.

Die Lage war gut und ruhig gelegen. Der Vermieter sehr nett und hilfsbereit und der Preis war wirklich gut.

Das ganze Haus ist sehr ringhörig. Zudem liess sich das Dachfenster nicht öffnen (zugeschraubt) und die Zimmer im Dachgeschoss waren unglaublich heiss (es war Hochsommer). Der Ventilator hat nur wenig geholfen. Schlafen ist so eher schwierig.
