Good but misleading

Cozy place, great location

The pictures showed a bunker bed but there was only a single bed, so people had to sleep on the couch. Electricity is metered, while we didn't exhaust it, it is annoying to think it might run out at any time.

A great little place in a perfect location

Comfy, cosy, great location. Had everything we needed. Didn’t use the facilities as we just used the chalet as a base for exploring.

Could do with a deep clean but assume that’s only done at the end of the season

No toiletries No towels(mentioned but not highlighted) No bed linen ( confusing as it is listed in facilities for the property). No coffee/ tea Bed linen are available at a charge - For a 1 night stop having to do the beds; not having towels, not having shampoo and soap and not having the basics to make a coffee/ tea is not ideal. A tiny welcome pack with 3 coffee sachets; 3 bags of tea; a tiny milk carton and 2 shampoo sachets would have made a huge difference or must be stated very clearly when booking.

No bin bag, only a little toilet roll there, the tiniest of handgel, no bed linen so we took our own sleeping bags

Andy was easy to contact and happy to help. Keys were left so we could arrive and leave when we was ready (within the check in and check out times). We only had one night at the lodge but would like to return.

I wouldn't have liked to pay for bedding and towels.

was really clean and also kitchen had all items we needed to use especially cooker and was a good stay,amazing pool facilities and a lovely area and love the friendly people around and helpful.

firstly bedding were not on and after a long journey we had to put beddings ourself.we was told I got email sent but in start I would anyway expect bedding on.and we paid additional £10 that I didn’t understand because we didn’t ask for extra.double bed not comfortable at all lastly the wifi box didn’t have charge and there was no plug with it so we managed to use our mobile data.

Disappointing

The owner called me and said that I owe him £10 for using bed sheets and towels. He said that this was the part of our agreement. Actually we did not use any extra. I went to pay cash to the reception as the owner suggested, but the reception informed us that they are not allowed to take any money from us. I left the property on time and kept tidy everything.

Holiday park

Nice holiday camp with pool, restaurant, activities etc. Full kitchen, comfortable, parking fine. We had never stayed somewhere like this before so a new experience!

It was quite cold and we didn't want to risk turning the fire on in terms of the fuse blowing if too many things were on. Had to bring own towels and bed linen or pay for bed linen. Couldn't get WiFi to work to begin with as it wasn't plugged in or turned on

We travel a lot, but we haven’t seen such a terrible house yet.

Cottage number 125. It was a barn for animals, not people. All beds smell of dogs. Everywhere is full of dog hair. It will mold on windows and corners. On the floor laminate will swell from moisture. The toilet stinks of urine. Bed linen and towels with dirt marks. In addition, you still have to pay for the electricity you use. Have to drive 2 miles to the store to buy a one-time key for electricity. The cottage was not cleared on arrival. I had to wait an extra hour. Both TVs do not work in the cottage. We travel a lot but have not seen such apartments yet. When we posted the review, the disgruntled cottage owner still slandered us.

Pleasant

Spotlessly clean and all required essentials in the kitchen. Looks like the bathroom had received a recent makeover as it was very fresh. The bed was a little hard for my liking, but that's a personal choice. For me cleanliness is most important and this place couldn't be faulted.

The lodge is definitely in need of a spruce up, with some damp stains etc, and worn flooring but probably difficult to avoid in such a wooded area.

Andy was a brilliant host. Talked me through everything over the phone. Very helpful, welcoming and informative. Gave me detailed directions through the park to the chalet. The place had everything you needed. Kitchen was well equipped. Very clean inside. Great location a few minutes drive from Llanberis and the Llanberis path up Snowden. Would recommend and would definitely stay again. Thanks Andy
