Great location for us and suited our purpose as we were out all day but wouldn’t want to stay longer than a weekend and

Quiet location, mainly very clean.

Not enough towels for 4 people for 2 days. Bathroom heated towel rail rusty and toilet had a clump of long dark hairs stuck to the cistern when we arrived. Shower head had lots of limescale and a couple of same long dark hairs in bottom. Only enough seating in living room for three people.

Location

It was dirty, hair all over sink and toilet flush, rusty shower head, mold everywhere in bathroom. Only one mirror in 1st bedroom, no mirror in bathroom. Having to go get electric No ventilation, windows to big, not safe to leave open over night. Too stuffy as can’t leave windows open.

Location is very good in a quiet part of the park.

Good stay and as described

Clean and neat little chalet, had everything you needed for a one night stay. Beds were comfortable enough for one night. Pub on site to grab some food (albeit a bit expensive)

At the top of a big hill which wouldn’t be suitable to walk down for disabled guests, we had to drive. Next door has a hot tub that the renters were in till the early hours of the morning playing music and laughing loud. Not the fault of the owners of this chalet but something to be mindful of when booking as it’s really close.

We liked the location,comfortable beds,hot strong shower,TV signal and WiFi was very good The chalet looks so nice inside out the rooms are cosy and quiet

We were missing a bedside lamps in the bedrooms,we were missing a mirror in the bathroom and we would appreciate some hangers in the wardrobe..also the soap wasn't topped up the soap dispenser was almost empty.also if we found some brush and dust pan we would sweep the floor but all in overall we loved the accommodation and we would love to come back

Clean and well populated with furniture.

From 6 am there was a gentleman walking up and down outside at least 50 times screaming into his phone with a North African accent. Woke me up and quite intimidating if I was a single female / family. Maybe housing migrants on this park?

The mattress was well worn and not much support so it was uncomfortable. Was not aware of the electricity meter cards before booking as well. No TV in the main bedroom

Overall disappointing property

The location is good, bear a lot of great attraction, beautiful scenery for walks etc

It was cold and damp. A number of facilities listed are not there. There is no coffee machine, tumble dryer ( there is a laundrette on site). The pool was closed, the property is not particularly well thought out for example there are no side lamps, bedroom lamps, bathroom mirror.

We were out all day a d

On choosing the property, I ticked wheelchair accessible. I received a confirmation that it didn't have a ramp, however, there was a step. I thought it would be OK. The step was rather steep and a struggle for me. The lodge in general was lovely and comfy. We both slept very well. The issue started with booking.com and the supply for wheelchair accessible lodge wasn't very good. It was lovely though

No way suitable for wheelchair. Reception wasn't open when we arrived at 3.45pm. Shop closed and we didn't see it open at all. The swimming pool was disgusting. Good job we didn't want to go in. Bar was fine and food was OK. The site wasn't at all friendly which I would have expected. It really felt like the bare minimum was just scraping them through.

The park itself was nice and the staff friendly . The fishing lake and the sunsets were lovely .

A lot smaller than it looked in the pictures unfortunately it smelt like it needed to be aired . The beds were extremely uncomfortable . Rust underneath the top bunk bed mattress . No pictures or lamps could be improved .

Excellent location and lovely surroundings. The cabin had everything we needed for a short stay. Beds really comfortable.

Music and loud talking outside at the next door chalet on the first night. Hard to get the children to sleep because of that, but that’s not something our hosts could do anything about.

Damp, Smelly and Dark

The location was good

Where to start? Firstly the smell as you walked in wasn’t good. It smelled like a damp old towel thats been left on the floor for days. When you’ve been there for 5 minutes you realise why, they have a massive damp problem. The floors are wet, and i mean puddles coming up from the floor in the bedroom and kitchen. the bedding felt cold and damp, the towels they left (which we refused to use) felt damp. The sofa was damp and completely stank. These problems were made worse by their idiotic electricity system. Basically they have a pay as you go system (which costs £5 per day) and you have to top up by going to the shop or garage. CRAZY. Why not add £5 a day onto the daily rate???? Who wants the option not to have electricity or heating??? Because sometimes when you wake up in the morning to find you have NO ELECTRICITY OR HEATING it’s a little bit of an inconvenience. I think the problem they have with damp is because nobody can leave the heating on overnight because if the timers on them which only last 2 hours so nothing has chance to dry out. This place is a complete disaster and would never recommend it to anyone with children or anyone who enjoys any degree of comfort.

TERRIBLE!!! STAY AWAY!!!! Wouldn’t recommend to anyone!!

I liked the front room and the comfy couch and how spacious the kitchen was

Had to have credit for the weekend when we had already paid £300 and had to top up if we wanted more electricity. which we didn’t because why should we have to when already paying. It was 2° outside and we were expected to sit in the freezing cold with no heating. Had to sleep with a jumper on double clothed up because we couldn’t have the tiny heater on over night. Also, even then the duvet wasn’t thick enough to keep us warm. the beds were uncomfortable and could feel every spring when turning over. The electricity cut off at 7pm 3rd December. with no power we were going to freeze. So overall the worst experience of my life.
