Lovely Little Night Away With Family ❤️

Great location right next to the river. Weather had been poor so the river was really flowing which was lovely to hear but not too loud. Lots of space with a fully equipped kitchen. The lodge was lovely and cosy and very quick to heat and shower was also great with good heat and pressure. The poolside bar was excellent for food and drinks and reasonably priced and the halloween party was a nice addition.

Very strong smell of bleach when we arrived but atleast you know all areas had been cleaned well, and after opening the windows and airing out the lodge it was all good. Unfortunately the pool was closed on the dates we stayed which would have been a nice little extra. The main entertainment for the halloween party had unfortunately cancelled last minute so the entertainment was a little chaotic and thrown together and the bar was very busy with long queues and very limited seating available.

Fantastic week away from home

The 3 bedrooms were surprisingly large, sofas comfortable and the kitchen well appointed. It is right next to where the calm flow of the river be comes rapids for a spell and a large tree so you have some furry and feathered neighbours.

1st couple of nights i slept with the window open which was fantastic, after that the flies and moths found their way in. As it is right on the river, depending on time of year be prepared for bugs.

Really great place, good location and clean, perfect for a small family.

The location of the property was really good. There was easy parking and only a few miles from the town centre. The property was really well kept, warm and clean. The 3 rooms were plenty for what we needed and the plenty of towels.

We did think there could have been a few more convenience items such as tea, coffee, kitchen paper etc... we managed without but normally are used to having some of these items provided. The use of only one appliance at a time was strange but can understand why, so just a heads up.

Location would be stunning if staying for a while in good weather. Very good for Snowdon. Was just a crash pad for us.

We arrived late and it was quite difficult to find the cabin once at the site. A site plan in advance would have been more than useful! Also prepay electric meter not mentioned in listing.... We arrived after 10 with just over £1 remaining, not ideal.
