more spacious than expected, nice and clean, full kitchen with everything needed, warm and comfy good vibes, swimming pool and facilities are great, bingo active also
was not expecting to have to pay for wifi, not being able to do anything on the tv apart from watch teleshopping channels

The property was spotless, bed was comfortable and was cosy.
When we went to use the cooker the one hob was full of water but we dried it and it worked fine and the property could do with better oven trays.

The caravan was Perfect we had everything we needed and was very cosy and warm. Kitchen is goodwe cooked some great meals and breakfasts. Enjoyed our stay would recommend.

The location was great, very peaceful, there are shops and a nice chip shop a short drive from the holday camp plus within easy reach of Caernarfon. There is a nice leisure centre on site, swimming etc, the bar/restaurant was nice with very friendly staff.
The access to the accommodation was not very safe, especially for disabled people, I would say that it is a Health and Safety issue for able bodied people, there are four steps up to the entrance door, there is barely a foot space from the bottom step to a foot drop down to the grass verge.

The lake walk was really nice, but a little over grown in places. The lake house cafe was nice too.
Our caravan was quite tired, the furnishings stained and uncomfortable. The double bed was really uncomfortable, and the bedroom cramped. We should have stayed 4 nights but left a day early to get a comfortable night's sleep.

It was very clean
A bit bland, could have done with a few pictures on the walls. A few broken bits (wall, boiler cupboard door, wardrobe door hinge, sofa arm)

The caravan was a decent size though small for a family of 5
The facilities were poor, no shop on site. No staff to give advice or explain layout and times of leisure facilities. The leisure facilities were very poor. It took until day 3 to get in swimming because children couldn't swim until 10am, finished before 5pm. During which time families wanted to be out seeing local sites. We attempted to go twice before actually being allowed in. The bar food was very poor for choice and quality.
I had also emailed twice to enquire of a cot, I had no reply.

The site was very well maintained and the caravan was in exceptional condition and very very clean.
The caravan was missing some simple amenities such as a tea towel. The listing did not inform us that there were no towels included at all. It would have helped to know what type of caravan we had booked so we could check the bynteg website for details of what is included.
Swimming pool opening hours are quite restrictive, would have liked it to be open for general swim until at least 6pm. 4.45pm finish limits its use at the end of a day's sightseeing.

A very comfortable and modern caravan, well equipped with cooking equipment and utensils.
There was a nice indoor pool and spa near to the caravan.
Shower gel/soap and towels were not provided.

Super staff. Clean site. Comfortable van.
Opening hours of the pool etc are very odd. The hours are not for the benefit of users. Most people would want to exercise 8am. 10am interferes with holiday making plans. And 4pm closing similarly forces people to be back on site rather earlier than they would want.
We paid alot for WiFi and it was unreliable. It went down 4 or 5 times in our stay.

Paying for wi-fi.

Lovely site, very clean and in beautiful location.
Wished the pool and spa would have been open longer hours.

It was a lovely quiet park with brilliant facilities. The children loved the football pitch and the walk around the lake. The pool and spa was a perfect way to start the day. The caravan was well equipped with everything you need and were lovely and clean. We only seen and spoke to the staff on a few occasions but they seemed very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely recommend here to stay and will definitely book again.
The pool and spa closed early. We would have liked a swim and relax in there after a long hike.

I have only one complain. It is very hard to get mobile network in the entire park, especially inside the Caravan. This is why I paid 15 pound to get WiFi connection to the park management but it was the poorest WiFi connection of the world. The speed was too low and every after 3/4 minutes it was getting disconnected! I was really frustrated! Only for this reason I'll never book any cottage or caravan in this holiday park.
I bought WiFi connection @ £15 for 3 nights but the WiFi was absolutely useless! It was a cheating.

Great location and very friendly staff
The extra charges for every thing e.g WiFi, towels, and not seeing house keeping at all.
The food for the price of it wasn’t the quality you’d expect. for instance the mint lamb burger if you can call it that, was the thinnest Pattie I’ve seen and looked like it belonged in a roadside burger van along with the flavourless chips.

Had some difficulty finding in initially otherwise it was ideal

We liked how quiet and serene it was, the staff were very friendly and the property was very clean! I also really liked the surrounding amenities like the wellness area and the gym looked well-kept!
Wish there were some basic amenities. For example, at least a tea towel for the kitchen or some hand soap. It would also be nice if the wellness area was open for a little bit longer, for those that were out for the day and would like some relaxation.

Very clean, really nice outside , cozy restaurant, all done with taste, the first caravan park I was impressed of.

The property was clean and in a great location, really close to Llanberis and all the main hikes to Snowdon
Fine for a 2-3 night stay but would avoid if you’re staying for longer. Wi-fi is not included and you have to pay extra

Everything was very good except for the paying wi-fi in our van. WiFi in the social areas was good and free. However I needed it in my van, so I paid £15.75 for 4 days. This reception was really poor. When we left the receptionist said I would get a refund which was much appreciated. However, I'm still waiting for this to materialise.
The site is immaculate and very well kept. Trees and greenery everywhere.
See above.

Very clean caravan and beautifully looked after park. Great location and very helpful staff.
Some basic items like salt, pepper, bar of soap and similar would be nice to have in the caravan as a welcome pack. It’s the case in most places today.

Beautiful caravan park, great location. I enjoyed the breakfast at the boat house on the wooden deck overlooking the lake. The spa area was clean and modern.
The only downside was the bed. It could be more comfortable as I was waking up with the achy back but apart from that, it was lovely.

Location, cleanliness
Hearing wasn’t good enough.
5.0 / 10.0
Decent site, showers were fine, food was good, facilities like gym were alright.
Having to pay for broadband is ridiculous, end of. Especially when the website bugs and doesn’t give you a voucher so you’re left with no broadband or signal until the next morning.
Food was a little overpriced and a little shop for essentials would go a long way.

It was spacious
The noise in the night when it rained sounded like pots, pans and cutlery clattering. And banging sounds from what I think may have been bits of trees falling on the roof, which made the whole caravan shake.

A lovely clean and comfortable caravan, no complaints. Spa area was a nice surprise. Staff were very friendly in the bar, pizzas were very nice.
Needs better signage around at night, we get very lost in the rain coming back from the bar. Could do with more waste recycling areas, had to walk a little too far to get rid of rubbish.

It is good value for money, decent accomodation for the price we paid. I would recommend the place for any families planning to book the accomodation with Brynteg, it is a family friendly place. Thanks to booking.com for making the booking process simple.

Location beautiful, close to Llanberis and Caernarfon, site was really well maintained. The pool was great and kids could go in for hours, didn’t have to book a slot like other parks. Spa was amazing loved the huge jacuzzi. Food good, although a little expensive. Bar and boathouse really well done out and lovely places. Would definitely book again. Great for walks.
WiFi not great but similar to all areas in that region. Older kids would have liked an arcade but I didn’t mind that there wasn’t anything like that there.

At 7pm we contacted the security as per the email to say our ETA was 11pm (due to road closures etc). Sevuriry said that’s fine security are there until 12pm
At 10pm we contacted to say we were having a nightmare with road closures and now the sat nav ETA has gone to midnight. He said staff usually leave at 11.50pm. We said we had been travelling for 6 hours and asked if there was a solution could someone leave a key? He said he would contact staff and get them to give us a call back. We didn’t get a call so we called him back at 11pm. We said we hadn’t had a call. I informed him I had been doing my best Michael schummacker impression to get us there. He said he would see what he could do but to drive safe as the roads were lethal.
We didn’t get a call back so we called at 11.40pm to say our ETA was now 24.07.
He asked where we were and we told him Breddgerlert 18 miles away. He responded ok at least I know where you are (giving us the impression that he would be there on arrival) we thanked him and told him we appreciated it.
We called again at 11.55pm. No answer. Straight to vm. We called again at 12pm no answer. We arrived at 12.07. He was gone.
At no point when we called at 7pm on the number provided above did he say if you arrive after 11pm there will be no one here and you can’t get in. If he had said that we would have sorted alternative accommodation. Instead he said security was there until 12pm and then later 11.55pm.
At no point did he say I haven’t been able to speak to any staff and you definitely won’t be able to check in. In fact he gave us the impression when we were 18 miles away that he would assist on arrival.
When we called at 11.40pm, and he said ‘at least I know where you are’, at no point did he call back and say I’m locking up, there no solution, you can’t sleep here
Had at any point he said there is no solution we would have stopped progressing toward Brynteg.

The whole site is secure and gated, with vehicle access via a barrier controlled by a key fob issued at reception with your mobile home key. Staff were friendly and even rang on the second day to ask how things were. The mobile home was spotlessly clean with most amenities. The living room/kitchen is very spacious including a dining table, and spacious couch.. The flat screen TV has Freeview. There is a sizeable fridge freezer and microwave. The bedrooms are as expected, a double bed room that has a full double bed but with slightly cramped access. There, are two further bedrooms each containing two single beds and wardrobes. There are two toilets, one with just a small hand-wash basin, and the other which includes a proper basin and a decent size shower for a mobile home.
A nice little touch was a box containing a small bottle of washing up liquid, a scourer, a cloth and so on.
Bed linen is provided for all beds, but you do need to bring your own towels.
Parking is provided free and is right outside your mobile home.
The site is quiet and provides nice walks to a nearby private lake. The site, on the whole, is very well kept with the grass cut tidily and the hedges trimmed neatly. I couldn't see one piece of litter.
The spa area is free for guests and is superb. The pool is large enough to swim properly and is gently heated. There is a well equipped gym. The changing room is unisex, but has individual private cubicles for privacy. Lockers, are available for a £1 deposit refundable when you have finished using it .
Beyond the pool in the same building, there is a spa centre, open to over 16s only, and also free. The central attraction is a large hydrotherapy pool/hot tub, surrounded by a cool tepidarium, a steam room and a sauna. The only drawback was that it was closed in the evenings when a relaxing time would be most appreciated after a day out.
The site could do with a shop, as there is nowhere to buy any provisions.
First, the WiFi. Contrary to some of the advertising material, the WiFi is NOT free. It is only free on the bar area. Otherwise, if you want it in your home, it will costs £17.99 a week. And even then, the service is very poor, sometimes not working at all. And even when it does, it is slow, and not really worth the money. Even using your normal phone data allowance is hit and miss as the phone signal is intermittent. If I came again I would bring a mobile WiFi hub I have. I think this is poor, considering you have to pay for a service that is grossly sub standard in the first place.
Second, the so-called restaurant. We went there for a meal after a long day out, not wanting to cook in our home. We were told that all they had were pizzas. And even then we were restricted to around half a dozen choices. We waited a long time for our order, and eventually the waiter brought the wrong order. Before we could say, out of frustration, that we'll have it anyway, it was whisked away by the waiter.
We waited again. And waited. And waited. After 40 mins I asked where the order was and was told it was probably on its way. I wouldn't have minded if they were busy, but we were the only customers they had who had ordered a meal! After another 20 mins I asked to see the manager. I was told there wasn't one. The staff had a general demeanour of just shrugging their shoulders and not caring. I got no apology.
So I asked for my money back but there was no response. I asked again. In all I asked five times for a refund. I was told that if I made a complaint to reception, I might get a voucher for next time, as if there would be a next time. Eventually I got a refund to my card. The first time I got an apology was a reluctant "sorry" from one of the staff after I insisted on a refund. The others couldn't have cared less.

Excellent holiday park, comfortable caravan, staff helpful. Great location with nice bar on site.
Prices in the two bars very expensive, you couldn’t afford to spend much time there even though lovely surroundings.
Caravan could do with decking area to sit, but overall not a problem.

Staff were very helpful and friendly unfortunately wifi was really poor and not a lot to do. The spa was excellent.
