Property owner/manager are irresponsible and show quite lack of communication
Although there were many issues, I want to acknowledge the things I genuinely liked. The most wonderful feature was the attic bedroom with its skylight windows - listening to the sound of rain at night was truly relaxing. I also appreciated that the fireplace was functional. Even though I had to buy the firewood myself, I’m still glad the fireplace worked and I was able to enjoy it.
My experience with this property started poorly and continued to disappoint. First, the listing showed a fireplace. I repeatedly asked whether it was functional and whether firewood would be provided. All my messages were ignored. Instead, I received template responses pushing me to continue communication via WhatsApp or SMS, even though my reservation was made through Booking.com. I expect communication to remain on the platform I booked through. Customer Service spent several days trying to contact property on my behalf, and they did not respond, even at the day of check-in - far too late to be useful. Upon arrival, there was no firewood (photo), despite the listing photos clearly showing it. Nothing in the description stated that it wouldn’t be provided, so I had to buy it myself. The Wi-Fi password was practically unreadable. I only figured it out the next day after guessing that the penultimate character was a “5” and not an “S” (photo). If property can’t write a password legibly, it should be typed on a proper card. Property template messages told guests to take out rubbish, sort recycling, bag laundry, and wash and put away the dishes before departure. Since when is a paying guest expected to act as the janitor? Leaving things tidy is reasonable - doing the cleaner’s job is not. Finally, the property clearly needs sanitary treatment. I encountered slugs in the kitchen every morning (photo). Overall stay fell far below basic standards of communication and professionalism. I cannot recommend this property.

Quiet Location just off high street. Excellent range of Kitchen utensils/facilities. Comfy, clean bedrooms. Plenty of warm water and a good shower. Excellent value for money.
Main room smelt a bit damp/musty and could do with brightening up. The cottage is quite compact. But such shortcomings are reflected in the price.

Pleasant stay in a comfortable home.
The location was great. Nice and quiet. Comfy rooms. Plenty of hot water. Not too far from the railway.
The steps were a bit narrow/steep. Instructions for parking areas would have been helpful.

Great Location! Nice place!
We had a wonderful three-night stay in Llanberis, myself, my husband, 3 children and dog, and couldn’t be happier with the place we stayed at. The house was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed, a fully equipped kitchen, lots of room for the family, and a very cozy atmosphere. The location was fantastic, beautiful surroundings near the 2 lakes, with perfect access to the Llanberis Path, one of the most scenic routes up to the summit of Snowdon (18km from the property and back). Shops and charming cafes were just a couple of minutes away, and we enjoyed fresh coffee and delicious pastries every morning.
Everything was just perfect. It was a peaceful and comfortable base for exploring Snowdonia. We’d absolutely love to come back and highly recommend it!

Super location and a lovely cosy home, good value for money
Fantastic location. Llanberis is a wonderful place to stay with kids. On the lake with a lovely playground and so many walks. Right at the bottom of Snowdon. lovely sunny back yard to sit in. Super comfortable bed and lovely wood burning stove.
Just a couple of small things. New toilet seat needed and shower head doesn’t fit properly in holder. No brush with the dust pan.

Cosy and Comfortable
Warm, comfortable, and clean. Nice bedding and big, fluffy towels. Very well equipped kitchen - I was able to cook a full roast dinner on New Years Day (though only one ring of the hob would light). Sky TV, good WiFi and board games for when the weather was poor. Brilliant location - very close to the high street, a car park and walking/hiking areas. Dog friendly with the enclosed yard. Nice touches of coffee, tea and dog treats. The house is so cosy and comfortable and we loved our stay and would book again.
Only a couple of things - there was no toilet roll or hand soap which we hadn't realised so we had to run out and buy some straight away - though as the Spar is only two minutes away we rectified quickly. A new firelighter for the hob is needed as only one ring was sparking. The decking in the back yard was beyond slippy in the cold weather, which was tricky when putting out recycling and bins.
