High spec and well equipped caravan in a good location on the site between the lake side boathouse bar and the main bar & restaurant. Also very close to reception. Lovely front balcony to sit out on with nice outdoor furniture. Perfect location for exploring Snowdon as only 10 minutes away but also very peaceful & relaxing on the site. Nice touch of Welsh cakes on arrival.

When arriving, it was very clean and welcoming. The whole grounds were well mainted and easy to access. We had a water fountain in front of our complex that changed colour at night, i sat every evening on the outside furniture listening to the water, we left the patio door open and could still hear it, this was amazing. The bar staff couldn't do enough in the pub next to the pool area, and we played pool, which is £1.50 a go and darts one evening, which really helped bond us all. I really like how they had family games in the complex. 10 minutes down the road is a beautiful castle and pub, the pub seating area outside is huge and overlook the sea absolutely stunning. I highly recommend walking snowon and zip world, the cart is a must do.

It was not adviced before arrival that the boat house would be closed during our stay. There is no shop on the complex, so you have to travel to a shop for amenities if not brought or supplied. When booking, it stated we had 1 hr access daily to the spa, but upon arrival, we were advised that as we booked through booking.com, we have to pay to use their facilities. I paid a lot for the accommodation so paying for swimming, spa, jacuzzi, sauna separate is very disappointing. We had plot 64 which was beautiful but needs some maintenance and care, the blanket basket had a tea plate size stain, bed wall light had no shade or light bulb, over half the lights were out in the living room, coffee supplied was solid in the pot, no dish cloth or sponge, hand soap dispensers in both bathrooms empty, you could not close the bathroom door which is not nice when all adults staying together. Bathroom mat backing shredded to bits left hanging over shower screen.
