All rooms are spotless clean, the mattress and pillows are very comfortable and we had good quality sleep 🛌 Kitchen facilities are very good too. If you aim to submit Snowdon this is the great location for the value of your money.
Hot water comes in set time.

Great location for exploring the surrounding area, comfortable beds, nice hot shower and fluffy towels. Well equipped kitchen and good selection of Adult DVDs and books (no Smart TV) Nice and quiet and although at the side of the road, noise wasn't an issue for us. Dog friendly and secure outside spaces. Good check in information prior to arrival via e mail
Sofas have seen better days and not that comfortable, turning out of property onto road can be difficult if busy.

Beautiful property- cute quirky and has everything you need - like home from home
Pulling off the drive feels like you are taking your life into your own hands. Far easier if you can reverse into it to get out again!

Owner was super responsive to questions prior to our stay and again after our stay. Lots of pre visit info provided so made it very easy to locate and tips on where to shop & eat. Perfect location, Caernarfon Castle barely 10 min drive, Mt Snowden railway 11 min drive, also easy drive to Anglesey, Portmeirion, Bala
Comfortable, had everything we needed. Could easily self cater if that’s your thing.
Good for 2 couples, both bedrooms were spacious.
If you have an EV there is a charging point provided.
The busy road directly outside the property where cars are clearly going faster than 70mph. The road noise was definitely not an issue but pulling into parking area in front of the house and leaving the property requires an extra measure of care. We suggest backing into the parking bay late evening when the road is quiet.

We stayed at the Old School as we was doing snowdon, the location was perfect just a short drive. The cottage is very welcoming and homely. Very clean. It's well equipped with everything needed, the tumble dryer was a bonus so we could get our wet clothes dried after doing snowdon. We couldn't fault anything about our stay at all. The beds are comfortable we all slept very well. If we ever visit Wales again we would definitely stay here.

Great location for getting to attractions
On a busy main road making it difficult to park and get out of.

Well located for all the areas in the vicinity that you might want to visit. Host rectified a small problem immediately, which is always appreciated. Electric charging on site was handy.
Didn’t really work for me. I hadn’t realised you couldn’t access any outside space without going out the front which was very busy/noisy with fast traffic - less of an issue for adults only but I would have been terrified with children. I was worried the dog would get out and there is no footpath so nowhere to walk immediately from the house, made it quite stressful. The cottage was also quite dark and dingy, with a pervading damp smell.

very spacious living room, easy access to Snowdonia, Anglesey and Llandudno
a little noisy

Plenty of room for 4 adults and two children.
The School house was right on the main road, so there was a continual flow of fast traffic through out the day and night. Also parking wasn't made easy for pulling out onto the road particularly with other cars parked alongside. Despite having fine sunny weather, living room was dark and dingy inside.

The rental property is fine and good value for money, but it is on a pretty main road which we had not realised. If you have the windows open at night you will hear the road. This is convenient of course, but also not peaceful. It is an excellent location for visiting the Lynn Peninsula (highly recommended) and of course Mount Snowdon, and not too far from the Aber waterfalls, also stunning but very busy on a Sunday in July :-)
The road. The garden is small and does not get much sun, this is not a problem for many people but we would have liked a bit more sunshine in the garden.

Self catered.
Too close to the fairly busy road. Children’s bunk bedroom was right next to front door. Opened bag of frozen peas left in freezer by previous occupants.

Lovely little cottage perfect stay for visiting places in Wales. Would defo recommend and visit again. We stayed in the two bedroom cottage which is perfect if you have a dog going with you as there are patio doors right onto a little enclosed area for your pooch. Next door had taken our parking spot but this was quickly rectified, easy to contact the housekeeper. Also we found the property to be really clean.
The only thing is that it is right on a 60mph A road which you can't see far enough of without having to pull out quite fast so don't think it's ideal for a none confident driver.
If you have kids I think it's worth taking some socks with grippers as the stairs are beautiful wood and all the floors so can be a little slippy especially for the younger ones. Would also recommend maybe taking a cheap shower mat as there wasn't one in the property

Great location, great accommodation- just close enough to what you need and just far away enough for a fabulous break from it all.

Very quaint cottage with a homely feel. Good location for local facilities but also a little bit out of the way which was nice.
We all enjoyed our stay.
Unfortunately it is so close to a busy road so is quite noisy.
Didn’t sleep too well (combination of the road and being used to a bigger bed). The kids slept fine though.
A bit if a damp smell downstairs.
Also, could do with a new pair of kitchen scissors ;)

We stayed in front unit Eryri We’ll set up and clean. Very spacious unit - this was the largest best set up apartment we stayed in over a 3 week holiday in UK Separate toilet plus toilet in bathroom a real bonus
Front of unit is about 2 m from road. Traffic can be heard when it passes but we didn't notice the noise overnight

The place was very clean and had a kitchen with all appliances you would find at home except a dishwasher. The shower was nice and it had a cute table and chairs on the patio to eat alfresco. It was very close to llanberis just a short drive away. The host was very accommodating when I asked if I could come to property a little earlier and the text messages were polite.
The building was converted into three cottages linked together with original walls. It was quiet until the guests from the others cottages arrived home. You can hear every word spoken, every step taken on the stairs and every door closed. I moved to the furthest away bedroom and whilst that helped a little the kitchen doesn’t have a door separating from the stairs and even with bedroom door closed I could hear the electrical buzzing from the motors of the kitchen freezer and refrigerator. The blinds are situated directly overhead in the bedroom and cause a thin ray of light to be directed onto your eyelids. Whilst I did as instructed, I did not feel it was right to ask the guest to strip the beds on departure….one because of the price I paid to stay and two because I had a very early start to my day and this was an added unwanted task.

Communication from the host. Cottages where spotless.. location to Snowdon and the set up of the houses
Parking was tight, I appreciate there is no room for any more spaces. This was the only real down point as everything else was fantastic.

lack of parking. There should have been space for 2 vehicles but the space suggested for the second vehicle was steady occupied.
