Disgusting
Firstly, the conditions.
Listed below are the few issues of many:
Black Mold in various places within the cabin
Light pull cords and blind pull cords either broken or moldy
Shower unclean/moldy ie cobwebs in the shower
Toilet unstable and wobbled when sat on
Secondly, false advertisement of facilities.
Upon arrival we noticed things missing from the listed description. Pictures of the property showed a lake view right outside of our cabin , which we did not have. It also stated there was a barbecue which we did not have, and a coffee maker was missing too.
After payment and a day before our arrival, we received an email saying that we need to purchase our own electricity, however nowhere on the description or terms does it say anything about this extra cost. In addition to this the cafe, shop and reception were closed for the duration of our stay and in the description it said these facilities would be available, and ended up costing us unnecessary and unexpected travelling, time and money.
We requested compensation and the hosts blatantly disregard any of the above issues and stand on the fact that we should’ve contacted them on arrival. However we checked in very late at night after driving for 8 hours, we shouldn’t have had to have any worry to still contact the hosts about issues like this . Next morning we were out extremely early to hike Snowdon, no time to sit and stress about the property as we thought we could just complain when we get the chance. We didn’t come here to stress, it should’ve been good and clean from the get go- this is false advertising and extremely blatant and thick skinned hosts. Read all the other reviews and it seems we have all had the same issues as well as being conned by these hosts. Do not book this accommodation!!!!

Disappointing
Well located near to Caernarfon.
Very very cold. Despite an electric fire in the lounge and 2 portable oil heaters the place wdn warm up.. The owner spoke to us and in fairness said we could have moved to a cottage except it was already booked. So good intentions but of no real help. She also said it was a summer Lodge and not normally booked out late in the year - that wasn't made clear. Also not made clear that electricity is not free - need to buy a card. Glasses in the cupboards were wet due to condensation. Anyway, outcome was late evening we decided we cdnt stay and went home early.

Lovely break for the family
Great location from Caernarfon and surrounding towns and villages. We had lovely days out and didn't feel to far from anything. Lovely pool for the children and pool bar, clean site and easy to find.
A great lodge, but needs a bit of TLC. Weather was wet and it was difficult to get anything dry or to warm up. The second room felt and smelt damp. We luckily had blankets with us to keep the children warm.

Overall a great place for a overnight stay
Perfect location on park, close to the pool and family bar which my kids loved despite the weather. Little shop and cafe also. Nice walk to see the ducks and swans, baby swans aswell next to the mini waterfall. Great sized cabin with outside seating and decking area. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again, next time for 2 nights 😀
Mouldy blinds and light pulls, also mouldy on bathroom ceiling. Rusty bed frame on bunkbed. A musty smell so opened windows and doors. Leaking under the lodge which was running down the steps. Overall it was great for a overnight stay at a great price, a little money spent to upgrade it and it would be perfect.

Fantastic location, loved the balcony and plenty of parking. Great amenities in the kitchen, plenty of room for a couple or a family or friends.
Sofas weren’t very comfy and water pressure weren’t great. However we didn’t spend much time at indoors and the shower was fine for a quick rinse.

Highly disappointed
Great location and the park setting is great.
We were notified 24hrs before arrival that there was a problem with the cabin we booked, and they were moving us to another cabin with the same layout.
Following our stay we contacted the hosts for a partial refund of the amount we paid, and had no response.
The accommodation they moved us to, may have been the same layout wise, but the accommodation itself was not the same as that advertised and was no where near the same price point as the accommodation booked.
The accommodation is smaller.
As it was a lower floor instead of patio doors from the lounge leading onto a balcony we had no patio doors from the lounge, there was decking at the door entrance. We found though that the decking was tired, the decking furniture was filthy, and the gate was not secure as the gate was to small for the gate latch to fit into the keep, not ideal at all for our dog, especially when advertised as pet friendly.
The electric top up - we were informed of this 24hrs before our arrival, had we known in advance we wouldn't have booked.
The heating provided was no where near sufficient for the property for this time of year. The heater in the lounge only keeps the lounge warm whilst in use, if you turn the heater off within 10mins the room is cold, which obviously with the meter setup is not ideal, there was £10 on the card for our arrival this went on heating. There is a mini oil radiator in the main bedroom we put this on max, when it came for us to go to bed the room was that cold still, we had no choice but to use the sofa bed in the lounge. The property should not be rented out at this time of year, the heating is no where near fit for purpose.
Upon entering the property it smelt damp, we can only assume this is because the property can not be properly heated.
The bathroom - due to the poor heating situation the bathroom had the temperature of a fridge, also smelt damp and was far to cold to take your clothes off in there to have a shower.

Damp accommodation, not worth the price
Great location, really close for our trip the next day to Snowdon
Whole accommodation was suffering from a real bad damp smell. Apartment was nice but had obvious signs of mould and damp everywhere. Glasses and cutlery in particular were really disgusting. I was so gutted as was really looking forward to the stay.

Disappointing
Close to Mount Snowdon, chalet well stocked with everything needed for family.
Advertised as apartment having a personal pool, no pool and swimming pool on site closed which I discovered just before we went. Also advertised was a BBQ area which was filthy and BBQ unusable and ready for the tip. We had prepared to have a BBQ when we arrived and was extremly disappointed when we arrived and ended up having to go to the local chip shop which cost me another £35. The inside was clean, but generally the outside has been neglected and requires a lot of TLC and not suitable for a family of 4 and a dog which we had to keep away from the flower pots full of rancid water. Nice park, but would not go back to that apartment and will do my homework prior to booking another break.

The site was in a good location for the area we wanted to visit. The cabin had enough space for a family of four and everything we needed. The site was good and had a lovely bar area.
The cabin was cold and is only heated by an air heater in the lounge and one oil radiator. You have to pay for electricity via card on top of your booking price and it was costly to run the heaters.
We were unaware until after we had booked regarding the additional electricity cost.

we had a lovely 2 nights stay, 2 adults and 2 teenagers, plenty of space for us, felt cosy and warm with ample heating a
very cosy and welcoming, kitchen facilities were great, everything we needed. Outside balcony looked very nice shame we couldn’t use it because of the weather but having the nice big windows meant we could stay in doors and still appreciate the outside.
